Office

The ride to the office was in complete awkward silence as Amber and Xavier arrived at the office shortly after. Amber was really grateful he didn't ask her any more questions or she might have just spilled the truth unknowingly.

Amber was the first to leave the car as if she was on a hot seat. She wasted no time before entering the office forgetting about Xavier.

Xavier on the other hand was confused by her actions. Did he say or do something wrong?

He brushed off the thought and came to the conclusion that she might be rushing to check if he had any appointments while they were away.

Xavier entered his office and was surprised at who he saw. His Mum. She was scrutinizing Amber from head to toe with her sharp gaze. The last thing he wanted was to make Amber feel uncomfortable by his Mother.

He sat behind his desk, "What brings you here mum?"
