Liam stood there quietly in the silent night.

The nights in Kingstown were always cold. 

Added to that, they were now standing at the top, Nora was hit with the chilly breeze. 

Holding her trembling body, Liam hurriedly got down from the railings and pulled her down.

Liam stiffened before turning around and held her. “What’s wrong?” 

“It’s cold.” Nora hugged him tightly. 

Liam let her hug him and opened the car door and sat inside before pulling Nora on his laps. 

Snuggling into his embrace, she tried to absorb as much warmth as she could from his body. 

Liam turned on the heater and pulled the seat behind so they could sit comfortably. Putting her small hands in his broad palm, he rubbed them.
