Chapter 68: A feeling of Betrayal - Part 2

Dede tried to speak but it was sobbing that came out of her mouth and Bryson shut his eyes. The sound of her tears got to his heart and he felt terrible inside. He had a feeling of betrayal yet he couldn't hate her for it.

"Dede, the crying will not change anything. It would not change the fact that you were with another man just forty-eight hours into our marriage. Tell me what happened," he said and he opened his eyes to look at her.

Dede swallowed her tears and tried to talk.

"I ... I was ... sitting outside," she stammered and tried to recall how it all happened and what she could remember.

"He came," she said not looking at him.

"We talked and he..." she paused. "He already knew everything," she continued. "he mentioned a gossip at the office," she chipped in and Bryson stood up and pushed the flower pot sitting on the small table to the floor breaking it.
