Drake’s stilled heart thumped loudly as the car stopped abruptly close to the roadside ditch.He had finally done it.

He had survived!

He watched in awe as the bus driver flashed the headlamp as he drove on.His eyes scanned through his body and was relieved that he had no injuries.He alighted from the car and made a call across to the head bodyguard at the mansion.Within few minutes,a convoy of three cars joined him and he returned to the mansion.

The moment he alighted from the car,he stretched forward his hands and the bodyguard reluctantly dropped the pack containing the snack on his hand.It had to be him,he had to present it to her by himself.
