Chapter 42 This is so stupid!

Gabrielle's sudden question caught Scarlett off guard. She pressed her lips together, biting on them, and thinking about how to answer his questions.

Basically, Scarlett was surprised to see him all of a sudden. When he asked her to pick something from him, she was really disappointed. Yet, she obliged him, not knowing he was waiting for her here.

She thought he only comes on the weekends, so his weird request didn't really give her any hint of his presence. So, watching him all of a sudden appeased her soul and made her a little shy because of his question.
