Three days later, when Mahendra called Subhadra to inform her he wouldn't be able to make it to the shoot, which they had planned for his social media page, she was disappointed. That Friday, Subhadra took nearly an hour to get ready. Half that time was spent in her trying to get her saree right. Nehra was right. Her mother wouldn't be able to tell if she was pregnant or not, if she wore a heavy saree like the one she was wearing. Mahendra told her that he would come and pick her up. He had arrived thirty minutes ago, when she'd barely even gotten ready. He had been talking to her father for the past half hour. God knew what they were both talking about. Two weeks went by blissfully. Subhadra went to work every morning and every evening was spent in Mahendra's club, talking to him and building the social media page of the club, which had gained a decent amount of popularity. Mahendra was nervous about telling Subhadra, but he couldn't go five days without her. Many times, people had told him that the beginning of a relationship was bliss. It was only after, that it would start to fizzle out. Mahendra thought that those type of relationships were not relationships at all. He could never imagine such a situation with Subhadra. She was a firecracker who would keep him on his toes, and if she was too tired for that, he would keep her on her toes.
