ARIA’S POV

“Hello, Aria, what’s up?”

“I can’t reach him.” I paced back and forth across the living room, dragging my fingers through my hair for what felt like the hundredth time. “Zara, it’s almost midnight and he’s not picking my calls.”

The silence of the penthouse pressed in on me, heavy and suffocating. Every ticking second made my chest tighter.

I knew getting involved with another Weston was a mistake. What I didn’t know was that Xavier would turn out to be another version of his brother.

It all felt too familiar. Way too close to the life I had just escaped.

It’s like I married Dean all over again. Xavier doesn’t care about me. He doesn’t even share a room with me. I figured the only reason I'm here is to give him children so he can inherit his father’s wealth.

Thinking about it made something inside me twist painfully.

If I hadn’t told my best friend everything, if I had kept it all bottled up like the contract demanded… I was certain I would have lost my mind by now.

But what Xavier doesn't know wouldn’t hurt him.

“Aria, calm down,” Zara said gently. “Maybe he’s just working late.”

“It’s midnight, Zara,” I snapped, stopping in my tracks. “He’s a workaholic, yes, but he never stays out this late without saying anything to me.”

She chuckled softly. “Now you sound like his wife.”

“I am his wife,” I blurted.

The words slipped out before I could stop them.

My heart skipped.

There was a long pause on the other end.

“Aria, did you just…”

“No. No, that’s not what I meant,” I rushed out, shaking my head even though she couldn’t see me.

Before she could press further, the sound of a car pulling into the garage cut through the silence.

My breath caught.

“Zara, I’ll call you later.”

I hung up immediately and rushed toward the door.

The moment it opened, the faint smell of alcohol hit me.

My brows furrowed.

Has he been drinking?

Xavier stepped out of the car, his expression unreadable, his movements steady but kind of shaky.

He didn’t even look at me. He just walked past me like I wasn’t standing there.

That hurt more than him coming home late without a call.

Still, I followed him inside.

“Xavier,” I called, trying to keep my voice steady. “I’ve been calling you for hours. Where have you been?”

He shrugged off his jacket and tossed it onto the couch carelessly before turning to me.

He knows I hate it when he leaves his things lying around the house.

“What have I told you about your phone, Aria?”

I glanced at the jacket behind him, irritation flickering through me despite everything. “Please pick that up.”

He frowned slightly but walked back and grabbed it.

At least he listened.

“Now answer me,” he said, his tone sharper. “Where was your phone when I was calling you?”

“I was doing laundry when you called,” I replied quietly. “I’m sorry.”

“Laundry?” His brows drew together. “Aria, we have maids for that.”

“I know. But I can’t just sit around doing nothing all day.”

He stared at me for a moment, something unreadable passing through his eyes, then turned and walked down the hallway.

I followed closely behind him.

“Xavier, you haven’t answered my question. Where were you?”

“If you hadn’t hung up on me earlier,” he said without looking back, “you would’ve known I was at my father’s house for dinner.”

I blinked.

What the hell is wrong with him tonight?

He's an asshole and a control freak, yes. But he never talks to me like this.

“Can I have your assistant’s number?” I asked suddenly.

He stopped so abruptly I almost walked into him.

“Can you repeat that?” he said slowly.

I exhaled loudly. “I was worried, Xavier. I just want to be able to reach someone else if I can’t get to you.”

He turned fully this time, crossing his arms.

“And the first person you thought of is my assistant?”

“Xavier, he's the only one that knows we're married. I can't just…”

“If he gets your number,” he cut in coldly, “he’s fired. And if you go to him to ask for it, he’s fired.”

I stared at him in disbelief. “What is wrong with you?”

He didn’t answer. He just walked into his room without saying a word.

I followed him anyway, my frustration bubbling over. “Did I do something?”

He turned slowly, his gaze locked onto mine.

“Isabella is pregnant.”

The words hit me, but they didn’t land the way he expected.

My frown came instantly. “I don’t give a fuck about what’s going on in that bitch’s life.”

“It’s Dean’s child,” he added.

For a moment, all we did was stare at each other.

Then I burst out laughing.

I couldn’t help it.

The sound came out sharp, almost hysterical.

I must have done something right in my past life. Because how could life turn around this fast?

“You think this is funny?” Xavier asked, his voice tightening. “Do you know what this means if she has that child?”

I pressed a hand against my chest, trying to steady myself.

“Xavier…” I shook my head, still breathless from laughing. “That’s not possible.”

His expression hardened. “What do you mean it’s not possible? He brought Isabella to the family house and announced it in front of everyone.”

I quickly grabbed my phone from my back pocket and scrolled through it, pulling up the report.

The same report that had shattered me… and then set me free.

I walked up to him and handed it over.

“Read it.”

His eyes moved across the screen, and I watched the exact moment it registered.

The shift in his body.

The realization in his eyes.

“Does this mean…” he started, his voice lower now, “he can’t have children?”

I held his gaze, my expression steady.

“That man can’t have a child even if he had a vagina.”

His eyes widened. “So he lied to our father? Aria, are you sure about this?”

I didn’t hesitate.

“Dean is not the father of that child.”

A bitter smile tugged at my lips.

“Isabella cheated on him.”

  • Two Times Mrs Weston    Grey Walls

XAVIER'S POV The interrogation room felt smaller than it actually was.Maybe it was the grey walls. Or maybe it was because I'd been sitting here for almost forty minutes, wondering why the hell I was in a police station when the culprit is probably somewhere committing another crime. The price I have to pay for being a twin.I leaned forward, resting my forearms on the metal table.“Can someone tell me why I'm here?” I asked, my patience finally snapping. “I was shot, too. Last I checked, that makes me a victim.”The detective sitting across from me didn't even flinch.“Mr. Weston,” he said calmly, folding his hands together. “No one is accusing you of murder.”“Then why bring me here from an event with my wife?”“Because you're the last known visitor to see Mr. Grayson alive.”I let out a dry laugh. “So that automatically makes me a suspect?”“It makes you someone we need answers from.”I clenched my jaw but nodded.“Fine. Ask.”He opened the file in front of him.“Why were you at

  • Two Times Mrs Weston    Valentina Rossi

ARIA'S POVThe car glided to a stop, and for a moment, I forgot how to breathe.Outside the tinted window, a sea of flashing lights awaited us. Paparazzi lined the red carpet, cameras raised, voices overlapping in a chaotic symphony of shouted questions. The building behind them was magnificent: glass and steel, soaring toward the bright sky, illuminated from within like a beacon.Xavier turned to me, his hand finding mine. “Ready?”I swallowed. “As I'll ever be.”He stepped out first, and the noise doubled. Then he reached back, took my hand, and helped me out of the car.The moment my heel touched the red carpet, the world exploded.“Mr. Weston! Over here!”“Mrs. Weston, look this way!”“Xavier! Aria! Give us a smile!”I forced a smile, my hand gripping Xavier's arm like a lifeline. He leaned down, his lips brushing my ear.“Just breathe. You're doing fine.”We walked down the carpet, pausing for photos, nodding at the occasional familiar face. The lights were blinding, the noise ov

  • Two Times Mrs Weston    Completely and Utterly Lost

ARIA'S POVI had been standing in front of the mirror for what felt like an eternity. The two stylists, a whirlwind of energy named Lucia and Elena, had been circling me like hawks since eight in the morning. They had dragged me out of bed before I could even blink, shoved me into a steaming shower, and spent the next two hours attacking my hair with brushes, curling irons, and enough product to open a small salon. Now, an hour after that, they were still debating.“No, no, no.” Lucia held a deep emerald dress against my body and shook her head vehemently. “This washes her out.”“What about this?” Elena held up a gold dress that sparkled like liquid sunlight.“It's too much. She's not a disco ball.”I sighed, my shoulders slumping. “Ladies, I appreciate the effort, but can we just pick one? Anyone. I'm begging you.”Lucia gasped dramatically, pressing a hand to her chest. “If you really hate us that much, just say so.”Elena nodded solemnly. “We love our lives, babe. And we are not ab

DEAN'S POV I stared at the laptop screen, the numbers blurring together. It was impossible to focus. My mind kept drifting back to the conversation between me and Xavier at the precinct, to his smug face when he said those words.‘You really think she loves you? She's been in my bed for weeks, Dean.’I shook my head, running a hand through my hair. No. It's not possible. Aria couldn't possibly love me that much and still sleep with Xavier. She was devoted. Loyal. She'd proven that over the years. It can't be true. It just can't.The door creaked open, and I looked up.Isabella stood there in a tiny red dress that barely covered her thighs. Her hips swayed as she walked toward me, a predatory smile playing on her glossy lips.“I thought you might need a break, baby.” Her voice was silk and honey.I forced my eyes back to the screen. “I'm working, Izzy.”“Are you?” She circled the desk, her fingers trailing across the polished wood. “Because you've been staring at the same page for twe

  • Two Times Mrs Weston    My First Rule

XAVIER'S POV “I swear Ria will be the death of me.” Ian's voice filled the room as Reed trailed behind him, his shoulders tense the moment he noticed what he was here for. Kai escorted Reed toward the range while Ian settled into the seat beside me, letting out a heavy sigh.“I mean... how the hell does one look so innocent yet be so stubborn?”“Another argument?” I asked calmly, my eyes fixed on Reed as Kai adjusted his stance.Ian didn't answer immediately. I knew he was staring at me because I could feel his gaze burning into the side of my face.“What's with that expression?” He finally asked. “You guys had a fight or something?”I shook my head. “It's nothing.”“Xavier…”“Do you still think this is the best way to go about it?” I cut him off, watching Kai place the gun back in Reed's trembling hands.Ian went quiet.“Trust me, Xavier. I wish there were other options.”The sharp crack of gunfire echoed across the private shooting range, one shot after another, each round hitting

ARIA'S POV“Are you sure about this?” Reed asked again, his voice laced with hesitation. “He'll definitely get angry if he sees you in the kitchen when we have maids.”“Don't worry about Xavier.” I waved a dismissive hand. “I think he's used to it by now.”“It's not about…”“Get to work, Reed.”I handed him a spoon and stepped back, waiting for him to show me what he'd learned since our last session. The moment he held the spoon in his hands, I knew I was in for it.He gripped it like it was a weapon. His knuckles were white, posture stiff. Reed looked like he was preparing to fight the vegetables rather than cook them.“Reed.” I pinched the bridge of my nose. “It's a spoon, not a sword. Relax your grip.”“Sorry.” He loosened his fingers slightly. “Like this?”“Better.” I pointed at the bowl of chopped tomatoes. “Now, stir the sauce. Gently. Like you're... I don't know, stirring a potion for a love spell.”He gave me a deadpan look. “A love spell?”“It's called having fun, Reed. You s
