I woke up in a strange room. It was big and warm, the sunlight streaming through the open window. A sliding door was cracked open, letting in the fresh air. It had rained last night. You could smell the wet earth outside. I sat up and looked around. There was a love seat and two chairs in front of a large fireplace. I rubbed my eyes, and I could see a Sleeping Damon in one chair. A book in his lap and a glass of amber liquid beside him. He had probably been there all night. I didn't blame him for what happened, and honestly. The whipping and wolfsbane was nothing compared to whatever those Hunters gave me. That was a pain I would never forget. I slipped out of bed and ducked into the bathroom. Turning on the hot water, I put my hand in to feel the temperature. As soon as the water was hot enough to wash away any memories of yesterday, I climbed in, removing Damon's shirt before I did.
