I watched as Lucy responded with the grace and elegance of a true Luna. I knew she would be a good Luna but seeing her have so much grace towards men who hurt her and almost killed her made me want to mark her right then and there. I knew changes needed to be made regarding how we dealt with trespassers and our archaic ways of dealing with Rogues. Lucy was right. She was once a rogue, to no fault of her own. We ate in silence as I finished my last bit of paperwork and hand-offs so I could spend the next two months taking Lucy travelling and seeing the world. Far away from all the drama of our packs.
"I programmed your new phone with everyone's numbers. They lost your bag when they took you to the cells. Maybe check in with Axel and Ellen. I told them what happened, but I am sure they want to hear from you."
