Chapter 49

I got out of Jiv's car without hesitation, but he immediately grabbed me when he saw a black car approaching. I just gave in to Jiv and tried to hide inside the car.

"W-Who are they?" every word I throw at him is soft and strong.

"I-I don't know. I don't know." he still grabbed me.

I just raised my eyebrow at the curiosity on his face. "A-Are you sure? How can I trust you? Your father is the one who called here, Jiv, and even though I didn't go to college---I'm not a fool." I know I uttered too many words, but I felt differently about him.

"Is that how you think of me, Benizh? Is that so? Answer me," his eyes were already glaring staring at me. Very different from Jivo whom I met cheerful and heavenly.

I couldn’t measure a stare at him, so I averted my eyes from his eyes. But he violently reached both my shoulders and immediately confronted him. I was already writhing in pain caused by the painful twisting of his hand on my shoulder.
