Chapter 8: Hard Around You

“I came here because I was looking for you”

“I thought you wouldn’t run from our agreement!”

My mouth was opened as those words escaped his soft pink lips and made the shape of the letter O, my pupils are wide open to the fullest extent, eyebrows and forehead are pulled up higher than the sky.

But the words that had been stored in my mind never escaped my lips, and the fact that I was keeping the word solely for myself caused the back of my throat to boil, when I realized that Levi Atwood was not someone who deserved to be fought for, I couldn’t bring myself to say a word.
