After returning home, Mia began applying for a job. After the conversation with her adoptive parents that morning, Mia understood that she could not rely on them or the money they had promised her.

Mia had majored in design, she had graduated with flying colours this year. She was a popular face in the university because of her outstanding designs. She was supposed to apply for a job earlier this year as her classmates did, however her applications had been delayed because she had been looking for her parents.

After sorting out her portfolio and resume, she sent them to reputable companies.

Considering Mia was a gold medalist and had received several accolades, she received interview calls within a few days.
