Hello love (1)

Gustavo (pov)

Since we left the mansion, her silence has been suffocating. It stings, knowing that she's still angry with me. I can't understand her; she should be grateful for the life she has. people like us have to fight tooth and nail just to survive, yet she has everything handled to her on a silver platter. My frustration builds, gripping the steering wheel tightly, my eyes locked on the congested road ahead.

New York City's traffic is notorious, and today is no exception. The City's Charm and vibrant lifestyle drew me here, a place where dreams come true for ambitious souls like mine. But today, it feels like a nightmare. I honked at the car in front of me, desperately clinging to my composure. All I want is for this chaotic morning to end on a positive note.

Taking a glance at her through the rearview mirror, my heart skipped a beat. She was breathtakingly beautiful with her golden blond hair cascading effortlessly on her shoulder. Each Ray of sunlight dances upon her flawless fair skin, creating an ethereal glow. Her golden brown eyes captivated me, sparkling with every passing look. Her lips, a perfect blend of warm peaches and delicate roses, tempted me to taste their sweetness. I yearn to feel her soft, warm body pressed against mine; it sets my inside on fire, a desire that consumes every fiber of my being.

Lost in thoughts, the sudden blaring sound of a Ford Victoria taxi shattered the spell.

(Gemini POV)

We finally arrived at our destination, standing before the brilliance of the new skyscraper office. The vision before me exceeded all expectations. Memories flooded back of my father's rage-filled rants, his voice echoing in my mind, as he threatened to cancel his contract due to their pitiful lack of manpower and resources. He felt scammed, and that infuriated him to no end.

Beside me, Gustavo stood tall, his work bag lazily draped over his shoulder. Despite being just an inch away, I couldn't help but feel little in comparison to his imposing presence. As I attempted to soak in the moment, my phone chimed insistently, demanding my attention. I glanced at it briefly, opting to ignore the distraction.

A middle-aged man dressed morally in a sleek black suit, approached us with an air of competence. It was evident that he had been informed about our arrival, as the entire staff seemed to anticipate our entrance. Warmth and eagerness radiated from their eyes, which greeted me with familiarity and respect. It was a routine I had grown accustomed to after multiple visits. My father had stressed the importance of asserting my authority, reminding me to never cower in the presence of these employees. it was a lesson learned through hardship, a lesson engraved into my very being

"Thanks, Mr. Walgreens for accompanying us, I will take it from here" As Mr Walgreens bid his farewell as he exited the room, Gustavo's calm manners remained intact. A warm smile played on his lip as he acknowledged the passing employees, who in turn greeted us with a sense of familiarity and admiration. Stepping into the elevator, Gustavo reached out and pressed the fifth button with preciseness, a subtle indication of his destination- his office.

A sudden surge of intimacy filled the air as he slowly wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him. His touch conveyed a mixture of tenderness and desire, intensifying the connection between us. Caught in the moment, our lips met in a deep and passionate kiss, conveying silent understanding between us. I couldn't help but smile as I gazed into his eyes; this display of affection was nothing out of the ordinary for Gustavo within his confinement, He was always serious when it came to his work environment.

"Was that a reward or what??," I teased him

"I want to make love to you right now" his voice Husky but sweet

"What's stopping you, your office seems like a nice start" I watched him debate whether or not it was a good idea

"Nope, I don't do office sex" he added as he placed a kiss on my lips this time gently before letting go.

Who was I kidding, I knew what the answer was, just thought he was ready to step out of his boundaries for once. " are you okay" he asked his eyes fixed on the elevator number as it touched down on the fifth floor, the door suddenly open, revealing the good furniture room.

" yeah why wouldn't I be” A fake smiled appeared on my lip as I try to cover the hurt I feel currently.

As we entered the exquisitely decorated room, my eyes were drawn to the two elegant red cotton couches that stood facing each other. Positioned perfectly in between them was a sleek glass mini table, providing just the right amount of space for waiting guests to relax comfortably. The room exuded an air of sophistication and warmth, creating an inviting atmosphere.

Amid this extravagance, a graceful lady in her thirties emerged from behind the receptionist table where she had been seated. A radiant smile adorned her face as she directed her warm gaze towards Gustavo. Extending a heartfelt welcome.

"Good morning Mr. Diego" Her short brown hair framed her pretty face, with a wide smile showcasing her white teeth. Her tan-looking skin gave her a radiant glow. My gaze moved to her outfit- a stylish ensemble consisting of a short skirt with a subtle slit, revealing a glimpse of her thigh. She paired it with a white sleeve shirt, partly buttoned in the middle, showing off the effort she put into her appearance.

Her eyes now focused on me as curiosity filled her face

"Mary, say hello to Mr Saint's daughter, Miss Gemini" Gustavo quickly informed her, he could have just said my name without mentioning my father, once again, he made me look stupid. Anger fueled inside of me as I tried to maintain my cool.

"S-sorry miss, hello good morning" Mary quickly added, I could sense fear In her tone as she tried to button the rest of the shirt, I walked past Gustavo and headed into his office and get today over with.

The interior design of Gustavo's office exuded a compelling charisma, with its clever combination of sophistication and flair. Each element has been carefully chosen to create captivating surroundings that mirror his remarkable taste. As I settled onto the luxurious couch, my eyes were instantly drawn toward him, observing how effortlessly he arranged the documents on his meticulously polished Cedarwood table.

Never before have I witnessed Gustavo at work, but now, as I did, a newfound admiration for his dedication ignited within me. Handsome and focused, he commanded attention and respect. Unable to resist the magnetic pull between us, I slowly rose from the plush cushions and took a deliberate step toward his desk, deliberately catching his unwavering gaze. His eyes hungrily devoured my presence, captivated by the way my crochet knee-length slit baby blue dress teasingly revealed a glimpse of my toned thigh.

In that alluring moment, time seemed to slip away, leaving only an intense connection simmering between us, Emboldened by desire, I leaned closer, closing the gaps between our bodies. The air crackled with anticipation as our lips met in a searing kiss, kindling an inferno within me.

Intertwined in this intense dance, our tongues entangled, exploring the depth of desire. I tried unfastening his blue sleeve buttons but Gustavo gently halted my advance, capturing my hand. A beguiled smile symbolizes restraints and a lingering secret. He withdraws, leaving me yearning for me.

"Do you find me boring?"I asked, locking eyes with him

"What do you mean" he replies, his attention momentarily

diverted to the documents in front of him.

"Remember, you kissed me first in the elevator. Why would you start something if you can't handle it?"

" I never knew kissing you automatically meant we had to sleep together" he retorts, his voice tinged with irritation.

"We are here to work, Gemini. Let's stay focused on that."

Embarrassment washes over me, making me feel small and at a loss for words. I rise from my seat at the table, unsure of what to do or say next. Slowly, I make my way towards the couch and take a seat, desperately trying to get my composure.

"So fill me in, what am I learning today" I folded my hand and leaned on the couch resting my back

"Go through these documents, it for the newly funded project we have currently going on, we are still deciding so take your time"

I glance at the multiple documents in front of me, and I feel like crying, cause what the fuck, how will I get this done in a day, I have to be in school and currently my phone has been chiming nonstop. I glance through it and smile, I need to get out of here ASAP.

"I will take these with me," I gathered the documents in one pile and stood up to leave.

" where are you going, I never recall consenting to you taking those documents or leaving" his eyes fixed on me

" Well, now you are, I have a life, Gustavo, I think you and my dad keep forgetting that, once am done with these, I will bring them over" I walk towards the door.

He was about to get up, but I quickly unlocked the door and walked out as he yelled out my name. Mary the receptionist stood up and beamed me a warm smile as I smiled in response heading toward the elevator door.

No one was going to tell me how to live my life, Not my Dad, and not Gustavo, am not anybody pushover, and the better they know that the better it will be for everybody. I stood outside as I hauled a cab

"New York University, please" I calmly informed him

" Okay miss" the middle-aged man smiled as he drove to my destination. The drive was calm, the calm breeze flowed through me as I rolled down the window, and the warm sun rested on my olive skin, I felt alive, it was something I lacked, that freedom, that peace of mind, I will give anything to have it all

"Thank you sir" I handed him a dollar

" I don't think I have change with me," he said politely

" Don't worry, you can keep it" I smiled at him and walked away

My dormitory was conveniently located just three blocks away from my evening classes. I always cherished this proximity as it gifted me with a breathtaking view of New York at night, something many students will envy. As I stood eagerly in front of the elevator door, waiting impatiently for it to arrive at my floor, I couldn't help but marvel at my good fortune.

Exhaustion courses through my body, tempting me to take the stairs instead. However, giving in to fatigue, I decided to opt for the convenience of the elevator. With a melodious "Bing" sound, the door gracefully slides open, inviting me inside. Hastily, before they closed again, I pressed the button labeled fourth. The elevator obediently acknowledged my selection and initiated its ascent.

Finally reaching my desired destination, I stepped out onto the fourth floor and made my way toward the familiar door of my room. Fumbling with the keys, I desperately hoped to find Penelope either asleep or occupied with one of her numerous pastimes. Unlocking the door, I entered cautiously, eager to discover her whereabouts within our shared space, I stood there paralyzed, as my eyes watched the scene in front of me

"What the fuck"

I was left speechless, my eyes widened with disbelief, and I found myself frozen in shock. The overwhelmed sensation of numbness prevented any movement from my body.

ONE YEAR LATER: ~SWEET VENICE~ The Venetian night air was thick with expectation as Simon and Gemini returned to their luxurious suite, the soft glow of the city’s lights screening through the curtains. The evening was full of exciting tastes and feelings, but nothing matched the strong desire between them. Gemini's unexpected striptease sparked a passion in Simon, and as they entered the dimly lit room, the tension was clear. The necklace he’d gifted her sparkled around her neck, a subtle reminder of the love they shared, but it was the raw, unspokendesire that dominated the moment.Gemini moved with deliberate grace, her panties and bra the only walls between her and Simon’s hungry gaze. She approached him slowly, her hips swaying to an imaginary rhythm, her eyes locked on his. Simon stood by the window, his breath shallow, his chest rising and falling with anticipation. She reached him, her hands resting on his shoulders, and began a slow, tantalizing lap dance. Her body pr

~DESPERATE MEASURES~Gemini threw herself sideways, wrenching open the car door and tumbling onto the pavement as a deafening crack split the air. More shouting, the sound of running feet, another gunshot. She scrambled away from the car, disoriented, ears ringing.Strong hands grabbed her shoulders—one of the officers, pulled her behind the cruiser for cover. "Stay down," he ordered."My daughter," Gemini gasped. "He has my daughter. Black SUV headed north. My husband—"The officer's radio crackled with static and urgent voices. "All units, be advised that the suspect vehicle is located at the intersection of Mulholland and Coldwater. The child is secured and appears unharmed. Suspect in custody."Relief made Gemini's knees buckle. "Maya's safe?""Sounds like it," the officer confirmed, his attention divided between her and the standoff at the Tesla. "We had units already en route to your home. 911 call came in about twenty minutes ago from a neighbor who saw a struggle."Another

~SIN OF THE MOTHER~Ciara's face crumpled. "I didn't know he would... that he would make her lose the baby. He gave her something, told her it was just a drink...""And when she started hemorrhaging? When she was rushed to the hospital?" Maya pressed. "Did you stand up for her then? Did you confront Gustavo?"Tears streamed down Ciara's face. "I couldn't. He threatened to tell George I was stealing from the company. Said he'd make sure I went to prison, that Tiara would be left with nothing.""So you chose yourself over your daughter." Maya's words were quiet but cutting. "Just like you chose George's money over our friendship.""What was I supposed to do?" Ciara cried, her voice rising enough that the guard at the door shifted, alert. "You had everything! Everything I ever wanted! The career, the marriage, the child, the adoration—everyone called you a goddamn goddess! Do you have any idea what it was like living in your shadow?""I never put you in my shadow, Ciara. You chose to st

~BECAUSE I HATE YOU~Two days later, Gemini stood beside her father's hospital bed, watching as the doctors reduced his sedation. Maya and Brandon waited outside—neither ready to face George just yet.Slowly, George's eyes fluttered open, confusion giving way to recognition as he focused on Gemini's face."My daughter," he rasped, his voice weak from disuse."Hello, Father," Gemini replied, the formal address deliberate, a signal that things had changed.George's eyes darted around the room. "Where's Gustavo? I need to speak with him immediately.""Gustavo won't be visiting," Gemini said calmly. "He's currently in federal custody, along with Ciara."An alarm flashed across George's face. "What have you done?""What you taught me to do. Protect what's mine." Gemini leaned closer. "I know everything, Father. About Grandfather. About Mother. About what you've done to Saint Tech."George's expression hardened. "You understand nothing. Everything I did, I did to build an empire worthy of t

THE RECKONINGThe Saint Tech boardroom fell silent as the heavy oak doors swung open. Gustavo Montreal, standing at the head of the table mid-sentence, froze when he saw who entered.Gemini Saint walked in first, her posture straight and confident, dressed in a perfectly tailored charcoal suit that meant business. Behind her came Simon, then Brandon Greyson, and finally Jerome—Gustavo's supposedly crime in partner."I apologize for the interruption," Gemini said, her voice steady and clear as she addressed the board members seated around the massive table. "But I believe this meeting was scheduled to begin at ten, and I wouldn't want to miss it."Ciara Edwards, seated at Gustavo's right, recovered first. Her perfectly manicured nails tapped an impatient rhythm against the polished mahogany. "Gemini, darling, how unexpected. We thought with your... recent delivery, you'd be taking some much-needed rest.""I'm touched by your concern," Gemini replied, the ice in her voice belying her

~THE FINAL THREAT~Gemini's phone buzzed on the nightstand. She glanced at the screen and frowned, immediately recognizing Gustavo's number. After everything that had happened in the past twenty-four hours—discovering her mother was alive, learning the truth about her father's crimes—the last person she wanted to hear from was Gustavo Montreal.Still, she answered it. Know your enemy, her father had always taught her."What do you want, Gustavo?" Her voice was cold, detached."We need to talk, Gemini." His tone was urgent, almost desperate. "In person. It's important."She let out a bitter laugh. "I have nothing to say to you.""It's about your father," he pressed. "About the board meeting tomorrow. Things you need to know before you make a mistake you can't undo."Gemini hesitated, her mind racing. Was it possible he knew about their plans? About Maya being alive?"Fine," she said finally. "Where and when?""The café at the Riverside Hotel. In an hour.""That's across town. I need m

FAMILY RESTOREDGemini sat in the rocking chair by the window, cradling baby Maya as the first light of dawn filtered through the blinds. She hadn't slept—how could she, with her world turned upside down once again? Her mother was alive. The mother she had mourned for five years, whose grave she had visited on birthdays and anniversaries, bringing flowers and tears and whispered confidences.A soft knock at the door made her look up. Her mother—Maya, not a ghost, not a memory, but flesh and blood—stood in the doorway, hesitant."May I come in?" she asked quietly.Gemini nodded, unable to find words. Maya crossed the room and knelt beside the rocking chair, her eyes fixed on her grandchild's sleeping face."She's beautiful," Maya whispered. "She has your nose. And Simon's eyes.""I named her after you," Gemini said, her voice barely audible. "I wanted her to have something of the grandmother she would never know."Tears filled Maya's eyes. "I'm so sorry, Gemini. More than you can eve

~SEEING YOU AGAIN~Penelope sat beside Gemini's hospital bed, gently rocking baby Maya in her arms. "You're sure about this?" she asked for the third time. "Going to Brandon's place instead of home?"Gemini nodded, wincing slightly as she carefully buttoned her blouse. "I can't go back to the penthouse right now. Not with all the press camped outside. And not with..." She trailed off, unable to finish the sentence."Not with Lauren gone," Penelope completed softly.Tears welled in Gemini's eyes. Sweet, kind Lauren. The nanny who had been more like a mother. Found dead….another victim of whatever sinister plot was unfolding around them."I just can't believe she's gone," Gemini whispered. "And for Ciara to suggest that Simon—" Her voice broke."Hey," Penelope said firmly, "nobody with half a brain believes Simon had anything to do with any of this. The man worships the ground you walk on."A soft knock at the door interrupted them. Gemini hastily wiped her eyes as the door opened to re

~WEBS OF DECEIT~The hospital room was quiet save for the gentle beeping of monitors and the soft cooing sounds baby Maya made in her sleep. Gemini sat propped up against pillows, her eyes red-rimmed from crying, staring out the window at the Manhattan skyline.Three days. Three days since she'd given birth without Simon by her side. Three days of reporters camped outside the hospital. Three days of unanswered questions and growing fear.A soft knock at the door broke her reverie."Come in," Gemini called, expecting Penelope or one of the nurses.Instead, Ciara Saint glided in, impeccably dressed in a designer pantsuit, her blonde hair swept into a perfect chignon. A too-bright smile was plastered across her face, and she carried an ostentatious bouquet of lilies."Darling!" Ciara exclaimed, as if they were the closest of friends. "How are you feeling? And is this the little princess?"Gemini instinctively shifted her body to shield Maya's bassinet. "What are you doing here, Ciara?"
