Ch. 17

I decided not to stay locked away in the apartment anymore. Since Luke was going to be running free, so will I. I told Charles I would be going back to classes and he lost it on me again. Telling me it was a bad idea.

“I can’t just never go to classes again. We are majoring in the same thing. We will probably have classes together for the next few years. I don’t like it either but I refuse to stay locked away. He doesn’t scare me anymore, but I’ll stay away. I have sent emails to my professors about the situation and they assure me that they will keep us separated.” I defended myself.

“I still don’t like it.” He muttered, but ultimately caved in, realizing I was right. “I’ll make sure to be in the building in case anything happens.” He assured me. “I need more lab time anyway.”
