is the divorce actually happening or is this one of those novels where the wronged wife just never actually leaves and stays married to a cheater?

In the beginning, I was all for this story, but now I don't even know what the hell is going on. Its like the story done went downhill big time. This story really got me scratching my head.

If you like a story with a really slow pace, not mind to have chapters about thoughts only or lot of chapters where nothing happens then you like this story. sometimes parts are missing or things left out.... and timeline not always correct.

Too much internal dialog. Eight year old might have that much understanding but not a five yearold. Never reestablishing that she was alive with husband is understandable But she basically abandons his own son and has another life with another man and his son.
