I put down my phone, silent.

The conversation I just had with someone on the other side, managed to make tears fall down my cheeks. For a moment I put aside what I was doing. I even nearly ruined Harriet's picnic day.

Enough. No more sadness.

I've prepared a lot of lunch boxes. Believe me, I'm the only adult and I'm too wasteful to make such an excess of food. I guess I was too excited for a picnic in the park near my house. Harriet is getting smarter at walking, and I can imagine her walking the park with enthusiasm.
