Kai,

I wake up to Stella yelling and throwing herself around in the bed. The nightmares have been happening a lot the last week since she saw that bastard professor at her school out in the hall. It has taken everything we have to get her to go to school every day. We remind her on a daily she only has a few weeks left of the school, then we are all going to head to the Bahamas for the summer. That way, we can get her out of this place and hopefully away from him for a bit.

“Stella baby, wake up. You’re having another one of your nightmares, baby. Come on, get up.”

Stella jumps up in a setting position. “He’s coming for me, she cries.” I wipe the tears that are falling from her face and lay her back down on me. “Baby, we have talked about this. He will not get to you, not while I am still up and walking around.”
