Stella,

I walk to Kai’s window and open it. There’s a fire escape, so I climb out and run down it. I should have told the guys what was happening, but I couldn’t risk Kai not being there.

I abandoned my plan of asking the guys for help and headed to the road behind our apartment. As promised, a car was waiting for me and I ran over to it and opened the back door. I see Kai laying limp on the driver’s side, so I slide in and over to him. “Kai baby, wake up,” I whisper to him. He must have heard me because he jumps and turns his head in my direction.

“Oh, Stella baby what did you do... get back out and run he whispers.”

“Stella honey, don’t listen to your Boy-Friend unless you want him to die,” Hamilton spits out, then turns around with a gun pointing straight at Kai’s head. “I’d really hate to mess that pretty face of his up. Now let’s just set back and enjoy our brief ride for now, shall we?”
