Jessica’s POV

"Manang, has Daddy come home yet?" I asked one of our housemaids who had just brought me a snack.

"Not yet, Señorita," she replied.

I simply nodded and continued painting. I still couldn't understand why they wouldn’t let me help with the family business. I went against their wishes to further hone my painting skills and studied business instead. Not to boast, but I know I'm already good at painting.

Many people admire my artwork and want to get to know me, but I chose to remain a secret. I don’t know why,. I guess I’m just not ready to reveal myself to the world yet. Maybe it’s because I grew up always confined to my room, never allowed to come out during family occasions. Only a few people even know that Daddy has another child.
