A different Ethan

Valentina’s P.O.V

I felt burns in my throat and my head hurt so much, it felt as if I had been sleeping for quite a while, it was as though I had fallen into eternal rest.

There was someone in the room, and that person was touching me, warm hands cupping my face with a lot of affection… who could this person be?

I wanted to wake up but I was so tired, my eyes were too weak to open on their own, but I wanted to see.

My eyes opened slowly and I winced in pain at the blinding lights that came from the room, I closed them tightly and only opened them again when they adjusted to the light in the room.

I was met by a very familiar pair of green eyes that terrified me, I jumped backward only for my head to hit the headboard on the bed.

“Ahh!” A painful moan escaped my lips, the last person I was expecting to see was Ethan Lords towering over me, looking at me with concern in his eyes.
