It took like forever until I was finally able to move a finger. Sadie is still sobbing and trembling beside me, as well as Cheche. I tried to move again, and this time, I moved my hand.

"Sire can move now." My little mate cried and quickly wrapped her arms around my neck. I groaned, raising my hand. On my first attempt, I only raised it a few centimeters before it fell on the floor again. I tried again, but it was still the same. Cheche noticed it, and she helped me by pulling my hand and putting it around my little mate, now straddling my lap.

"Sire, can you talk now?" Cheche asked.

"Hmmm!!! The only sound came out from my lips. Sadie pulled away from me and then placed her on my face.

"Are you alright now, Sire? Are you in pain? Do you want me to do anything?" She asked, tears streaming down her face.
