CHAPTER FIFTY SEVEN - I CAN'T BEAR ANOTHER LOSS

I ran.

I didn't think. 

I just ran.

It reminded me so much of that night, how i ran and the immense guilt that washed over me.

My hands trembled and there was this deafening impaling noise that pierced my ear immediately i heard the first gunshot.

Yet, somehow with the numbness in my feet and my blood soaked dress, i just ran.

"Help" I whimpered as i staggered through people that dodged away from me.

"Help-" Were my words as my vision hazed.

And for a moment, i halted.
