"Trisha please," I folded my palms. Never had I ever been this scared of a girl like me.

"Why are you begging? Please for what?" She asked and retrieved her phone from her back pocket.

"You don't have to do this, we are friends...."

"Shut up!" She screamed. I had enraged her with the friend word.

"You've never been my friend. I remember clearly when you offered to give someone else your pencil after I had complained I didn't have one. Is that what friends do?"

My lower lips shivered as I spoke, "Trisha, that's almost fifteen years ago; we were kids; besides, I had apologised for this the whole week; I also got you a box of pencils after that."

She kept scrolling through her phone like my tears meant nothing, well, they actually meant nothing to her.
