Chapter 10: A bitter pill

Something is wrong with Jules, and if it’s what I suspect, I’m going to kill my brother and his mate. It’s no coincidence that Jules is getting headaches after Amara and Kell agreed to the mind wipe. Something went wrong, and Jules is now suffering because of it. I wanted to tell her the truth so badly, but I couldn’t find the words. It doesn’t help that she admitted to getting headaches. Fuck!
My swollen lips tingle as I gaze up into the ceiling. God, that kiss was amazing, and touching her was beyond anything I imagined it would be. She was so responsive and sweet that stopping was almost impossible. To be honest, the only reason I stopped was that I could feel myself turning. My fangs descended, and my eyes were glowing.
