Erin's pov

My eyes widened In shock. I didn't expect to be held by anything but then that hand holding my ankle was enough to scare the life out of me.

“AHH!” I screamed, veins appearing on my hair as I kicked constantly because I couldn't see what was holding on to my ankle, but whatever it was, it caused me pain.

No doubt that it was one of the creatures of the dark forest trying to get to me.

I kicked continually, trying to get that creature off me. I wiggled my legs continually until I felt the creature come off, but not without a bone chilling scream.

I was really scared about what was showing on. My heart was drumming faster than I expected. I didn't even know what was going on anymore.

I ran as fast as my legs couldn't carry me, my heart drumming hard because of the fear I felt. The forest was starting to manifest different creatures which I didn't know off, and at the same time, I could hear Duncan's voice calling for me.
