COLD.
I could only feel coolness as I walked toward the body on the edge of the forest. The same forest where Jeremy had almost tried to kill me. The same forest which Haydon and I snuck through every Friday to fight at the arena. But this time the air here was cold and tense. Goosebumps started to form on my icy, dry skin. My feet were sore and bare and bleeding from the small stones and dry sand on the ground.
The body that was there was unmoving, and I couldn't make out who it was because of the darkness surrounding me. I don't know what it was, but I was being drawn to that lonely body on the ground.

KATERINA"Do I look fine?" I asked Jas.It was Friday afternoon and Haydon invited me out to hang. The whole day it was killing me not to tell him my feelings, but tonight was my chance. "Yep!" KATERINAPacking for Italy was an utter nightmare. I didn't know what to wear, what to pack nor did I even know what the weather was like there. So eventually I packed my entire cupboard into my bag... and some of those clothes into Haydon's bag. "It's Friday and we're stuck here with you, packing for Italy. I could be out doing something, maybe attend one of those underground fights you two used to go to." "Can you shut up Jas? It's not like this is a walk in the park for me either!" I growled. KATERINAWe arrived in Italy after a long, uncomfortable flight. I hadn’t been able to sleep at all as I though about what Haydon’s father’s reaction would be to me and began to mentally prepare myself for rejection. Italy was quite beautiful this time of the year, and the weather was warm enough to allow me to remove my thick jacket soon after we arrived at the airport. After we had gathered our luggage, Haydon rented us a car and we began driving.
