ANGEL’ S POV

It rained quite heavily the evening Adele snuck out of the building. I sat alone in my office, as I planned on working overnight, considering the work load that had piled up for me. I had earlier instructed Adele to be taken care of properly before retiring to my space. I could be a bit strict, but the last thing I was going to do was starve a woman. Instead of working, I found myself thinking back to my experience of the day with Adele, she certainly amused me. She was the least of my problem at that point so I pushed the thought of her away.

There was a knock on my door, I had no idea who it was. I told Joe to pass an instruction that I was done for the day but I wasn't sure he did that. The door pulled open as I kept my eyes glued to it, I needed to know who in the world would disturb my evening.
