Chapter Fifteen

The plan was to buy some fruits and return back to the hospital but Abigail and Stanley ended up buying a big basket of fruit which had almost all the types of fruit in it. Then they stopped by a food restaurant and ordered takeaways before making their way back to the hospital. 

They met Lauren standing right outside her mother's ward, talking to the doctor that just finished attending to her mother. 

She smiled in relief as soon as she sighted Abigail and Stanley. 

She was worried at first when she came out of the ward and didn't find Stanley. She wanted to introduce him to her mom. But then she figured out he must have accompanied Abby. 

"Thank you so much, Doc." She said to the middle-aged Doctor Who just finished talking to her about her mother's health. 

"You're welcome, ma'am." He replied and took his leave.
