Vladimir’s jaw tensed as He looked but He kept his expression neutral and ordered dinner for them.

"Two black truffle risottos, a side of grilled scallops, and whatever wine she likes," He said coldly, eyes boring into the man’s soul.

The waiter nodded, lips twitching into a polite smile, and left.

Rose bit her lower lip and looked down. Vladimir shifted his attention to his wife now. “What have you been thinking, Rose?”

Startled, she raised her eyes and shook her head. “Oh! Nothing just…”

He levelled her with a sharp glare. “The truth.”

Rose fidgeted with her fingers and looked at him as she spoke the words in her heart. "Why do you always sound like you're threatening people, even when ordering food?"

Vladimir’s smile was faint, but his fingers curled slightly under the table. "Because I usually am, Malyshka."

Malyshka, it was a new thing He said in Russian to her. She wanted to ask him what it meant but the

Zurich sparkled like a jewel under the sun. It was as beautiful as described in the books and shown in the movies. The river Limmat flowed beside the old town like a lazy ribbon. The greenery, the roads, the small cafes, the beauty of the place was indescribable.Sila spun in her flowing white sundress, laughing as pigeons scattered around her. She enjoyed the time here. Her husband loves her. She got her smile back. She got her dreams back. No, actually she was living her dreams in reality. She was the happiest person in the world right now. Klause leaned against the stone bridge railing, his hands in the pockets of his navy trousers, his mouth curved in a rare smile. “You look like a postcard,” he murmured when she twirled toward him, breathless and radiant. The smile on her face brightened his whole day. The girl came into his life as the pawn of revenge but became HIS PEACE. “I like this freedom, Klaus. I am like the old Sila again. Carefree. Happy,” she corrected sassily, pull

“No!” Rose bursted out, her own anxiety peaked as she pushed him away. She wanted to run away from him but his hold was too tight for her to escape. Hence she created a little space between them. “I won't let you use me today, You call yourself my husband?” Her voice cracked, trembling with fear and disgust. “You’re nothing but a monster. Did you even think about me and my mental condition? About what I just witnessed?”Vladimir’s expression remained cold, unblinking. His hazel green eyes held no apology, only sharp steel. “They came for me. I ended them.”Rose’s hands clenched into fists. “Ended them? You butchered them! I was shaking, terrified while you wiped their blood off your hands as if it were nothing.” Rose clenched her mouth recalling that bloodbath. His lips curled into a humorless smirk. “This is my world, Babochka. You married a Pakhan, not a poet. Blood is the currency here.”Rose stared at him dumbfounded seeing him talking so freely about killing someone. It was n

“I am sorry if I sound too intrusive, Pakhan, but I think you should be paying attention to your personal life as much as you pay it to your professional one,” Stephanie said to Vladimir when He came home along with his father. Vladimir raised his eyebrows and looked at her questionably. “I don't understand what you are trying to say here, Mrs Barbieri?” He stated while fixing her with a stern and hard gaze. Stephanie smiled at Boris as if asking for him to support her today. Boris too raised his eyebrows in curiosity. “Kindly clarify what you have been trying to say?”She nodded and made sure her words came out as clear but polite. She knew how big a man’s ego could be. She wanted Rose to see that Vladimir could be romantic as well. “Exactly the fact that it's your two months anniversary and instead of celebrating it with your wife privately you are spending it with meetings. My Rose would never say anything but as her husband it's your duty to make her feel loved and respected he

“Tell me to stop now,” Klaus whispered, mouth hovering near her ear, “and I will but if you don't, I might not be able to…” He pressed his lips to the silky skin of her throat. Sila's hand went to his hair as she closed her eyes and moaned. She wanted to see what he was like in anger. “Don't stop.” Klaus hummed in agreement. “I will make you mine all over again. So every part of you remembers who you are, mio amore.” Sila didn’t stop him. She let the silk fall. And in that silence, in the shadows of the fire, he consumed her. Not to forget the past. But to write over it with his name. As the things get intimate to the next level between them, The anger inside Klaus started to burst out of him. “You shouldn't have smiled at him, Sila," Klause’s voice was silk laced with venom, his eyes narrowing as he towered over her. “You let that bastard look at you like he owned you." Sila flinched, her back brushing the cold wall. Her heart thundered, lips parting, but no words came out.

“What are we here for?” Sila asked Klaus when he took her to a mall. He kept asking her to get ready from the morning after they woke up from the most beautiful night of their life. He said they had somewhere important to go. She kept asking him where they were going but he didn't tell her, now that she had reached the place she found out it was a shopping mall. “Well why does one come to the mall, Cara?” He asked, giving her a playful smirk while playing with the outline of her lips with his index finger.Sila's mouth slightly opened as she enjoyed his touch. Last night was amazing, the images of it flashed in her vision. Klaus' eyes darkened seeing her reaction to his touch. He was glad that she was moving on from her past and enjoying their time together. He was glad that she had accepted his love. “I wanted you to come here to shop for lingeries with me. The colours you wear are good but I want to see you in something bold. “Bold?” Sila blinked her eyes. Klaus smirked. “Yes,
