Sofia stood with shock visible on her face, she actually wished he had denied it, no doubt he treated her nice but now

Sofia took her phone and tried running out when I blocked her

“You really want to run away from this” I questioned

“I don't…know…what to say…” Sofia stuttered

“ Anything, say anything but don't run away, you don't have to give me a reply now, just think about it” I mused

“ But, stalking me is the height of it” Sofia muttered

“ I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking straight, I didn't know how to react –i was..”

“Can I go in, I need time to digest everything” Sofia cut me off

“Okay” I muttered

I took the day off and just decided to work home today and to clear my head. I was on the phone with Jace when Juliet came in,

“ Who the fuck allow you in” I muttered glaring at her

“ Well, the door was open, a free entry” Juliet muttered walking towards me with a slay smile

“ You've got some gut the, say what you want and get the hell out of my house” I snorted

“Mmm, I want you, I expected you to be over our misunderstanding by now, so what's with the cold look and attitude” Juliet pouted

“ Chuckles, a little misunderstanding, you call you sleeping with my most trusted Lawyer to abscorb with my money, a little misunderstanding” I ranted out

“ And I said, I wasn't thinking right, you provoked me remember and you promise to love me forever so why are you going back on your words” Juliet mused and tried moving closer

“ Don't you dare, now listen and listen well, let this be the first and the last time you will ever come near me” I snorted

“Is it because of her, this whore –i even heard she is Derek's ex, seriously” Juliet jerked out

“ Yes, it's because of her and mind you, I will pick her over and over again, do you want to know why, let me do you the honour of knowing –she is not you, she is her and her only not a whore like you” I snapped and walked out

“ One more thing, knowing how you behave, don't you dare lay a finger on her, if you try it you wouldn't live to see another moon” I walked out afterwards

I could hear her screaming and closing the door with a loud barge . I bumped into Sofia

“ I'm sorry you have to see that” I muttered and walked out

Sofia walked into the company and could feel eyes on her, murmurings from all side and could tell the news has curculate

“Good morning ma'am” Sofia greeted walking into the office

“ You see that, she pointed at the camera revealing the workers murmuring, I hate attentions like this and hopefully it should go down before the end of the week” Miss Minnie muttered

“ Okay ma'am, you have an appointment by 10pm with the shareholders concerning the new deal you just barged” Sofia said

“ Okay, get the necessary documents ready, are you okay thou?” Miss Minnie asked

“ Yes, I am, thank you ma'am” Sofia said and walked out

Miss Minnie phone beeped immediately,

“ Can this asshole just let me be, Jeez” Miss Minnie rasped

~”Hello gorgeous, can I see you again, I missed you” Jace said

~ “I do not know you, so please let me be” Minnie sent

~ “Okay, my name is Jace, let's start from there” Jace replied

~ “Okay”, Minnie sent

~ “ Can I at least know your name” Jace replied

~ “Minnie, and can we have this conversation later, I'm busy” Minnie replied

~ “ Okay, have a nice day ahead, Sexy Minnie” Jace replied with a smirk

“Why are you drooling on your phone” I asked coming into my office

“ Not your business and have been waiting for like one hour, where are you coming from” Jace asked

“ Why are you in my office without telling me, I should have just stayed at home” I said sitting down

“ I had to beg Vester to make an appointment for me and for me to get here without meeting you, that's rude” Jace muttered

“ I told him to clear my schedule, so you are not the only one affected” I muttered opening my pad to receive load of email

“ Vester!!!!” I screamed out

“ Why are you screaming” Jace snapped

“ Why do I have loads of email on pending” I asked ignoring Jace question

“ There was an issue in ont of the warehouse and one of the workers died, so I guess the news was leaked” Vester rasped out

“ And why are you just reporting to me” I snapped

“ Because I already have everything under control, I never imagined it leaking out to the reporters” Vester muttered

“ Get the car ready, Jace let's talk later” I muttered and walked out

“Take care and my regards to wifey” Jace muttered and ran out

I chuckled and messaged Leo to protect Sofia, Juliet can strike anything

I got home around 11:30 pm and met Sofia sleeping peacefully on the chair

“ Was she waiting up for me” I mumbled

She didn't even eat, she was definitely waiting up for me, I adjusted her head well on my shoulder.

“ Why do you always stay out late” Sofia mumbled sleepily

“ I'm sorry about that, were you waiting up for me” I muttered

“ Mm mm, yes, I was worried and Leo won't tell me anything” Sofia mumbled

“ Let's get you to your room, I muttered and carried her

I tried dropping her on the bed but she tighted her hand in my neck

“ Hey, let's get you to sleep” I muttered

“ It wasn't what I wanted but it just happened” Sofia muttered

“ What's that” I mused

“ I Feel the same way even though I don't want to, everyday I look forward to you showing up by that door and teasing me through each meal but can I trust you with my heart” Sofia muttered

“ Yes, you can and I promised to cherish and protect you forever” I muttered
