°

I tasted blood mixed with strawberry, weird right, I thought.

“Stop… hahaha…,” she struggles to break free

I released her and stared deep into her green little eyes.

I smashed my lips on hers again and this time, she reciprocated.

“The kiss became rough, I moved my hand slowly to gulp her neck,”

“I brought my mouth to her neck, biting and sucking slowly and deeply making sure to leave a hickey,”

“She couldn't hold it anymore and moaned.

"Mmnh, Alex!"

“I took it as a clue to continue”

I dipped my hand into her wears, playing with her nipple, she seems to get herself back at that moment

Shit!!!

“What was I thinking?” she thought and shifted back immediately with a flushed face.

She adjusted her dress well, without glancing at me and ran out.

I relaxed back on my chair, grinning sheepishly, she looked so freaking innocent. I whispered to myself.

°°°

She rushed out of the car and flee to her room immediately.

Lovie understood what happened and didn't disturb her further,

“Your food is here when you're ready to eat” My Lady, Lovie said dropping her food by her doorstep

She stayed indoor for the rest of the day,

Sofia tried understanding what happened in his office but couldn't and she can't stop thinking about the feel of his hand on her breast.

Jeez… stop thinking about it, she told herself, he shouldn't have the right to get into head she told herself.

She kept thinking about how that mouth that deals with her neck with such tenderness will feel on her

breast,

She suddenly screamed out at her shamelessness. A knock stopped her from tearing her throat.

“I'm not hungry, go away Lovie” she snapped.

“It's me”, I said

Silence followed for a while.

“What do you want?” Sofia shot.

“Come downstairs to eat” I replied.

“Well, I am not hungry, I'm sure I told Lovie that’

“I'll be waiting, I said and walked away

She ignored the last statement but after a while she jumps up, hurried into her pyjamas. I walked away.

“What was I thinking? Calling her to come eat? I thought when I suddenly saw her coming down to eat.

Ah! Thank goodness!

“You finally decide to come and eat”, I said dropping my phone and digging into my food.

“About earlier, I wasn't thinking straight” she said neglecting my last statement.

“Huh”, I muttered and continued eating.

“Is that what you're going to say?" Sofia asked, still looking at me.

“You were not thinking straight and you moaned, wonderful" I said looking straight into her eyes.

“Those eyes looked so captivating’ I thought.

“Stop staring. And like I said it was a mistake, I wasn't thinking straight so don't put too much meaning into it” she muttered and decided to eat

“Hm, What if I already do think a whole lot?” I rasped out without thinking.

“Well, that's your business to solve”, she said, not looking up.

I did not answer but continued eating still grinning so hard

°°°°°°

She made sure I was gone before sneaking out of her room.

Little Sofie.

"Lovie," she called coming out of her room and making sure to cover the hickey up properly.

She told Lovie to make something for her as quick as possible, while I just chuckled from the window.

°°°

She thought about it all night and concluded she didn't like the direction everything was heading and the best choice was going away—somewhere nobody knows—not even Derek.

She plans on eating to her satisfaction before leaving. She has her plan laid out already.

She finished eating and told the guards she was going for a walk and only Lovie could come with her.

She only needs her purse which contains her card, she is going by bus so the card can be used for payment.

She got Lovie into an interesting conversation and when she was distracted Sofia knocked her out

She already ordered her ride, she got in and told the man to take her to the nearest bus stop.

30 minutes Later

Lovie woke and her blood ran cold.

Sofia was missing!

She rushed back to inform the guards what just happened and was shivering so hard when they finally decided to inform the boss that was after searching the whole estate for her.

°°°°

I was in a general meeting with the shareholders when I my phone rang.

Leo?

"Boss, Ma'am Sofia is missing!"

My jaw hardened and I squeezed the phone tight, the screen cracking.

"Find her!"

Immediately, the hall became super silent considering the aura I was emitting at that point. Even if a pin dropped, the sound will be heard clearly by all.

“I will be back to this later, you all are dismissed” I whispered and walked out of the hall.

°°°°

I got inside and met the guards all on their knees.

Good! They had a lot of explaining to do.

I ignored them and faced Leo

“Have you checked the C.C.T.V” I asked.

“Yes, she got into a ride and I tracked down the car, he confessed driving her to the nearest bus stop”

‘I checked the C.C.T.V of the park and discovered she entered the bus heading to the Upper West” Leo continued.

“Heading to the Upper West?” I muttered asking no one in particular.

“The Hermitage!" I suddenly muttered.

Wow, I knew she was smart but with me.

"Not really," I chuckled.

“The nearest flight to Manhattan and book an hotel close to the central park” I said facing Leo

“Noted boss”, he said going away

“Lovie, pack my bag for three days. And be ready for your punishment when I'm back” I said.

“Yes boss” Lovie said hurrying away.

°°°°°°

Sofia was eating with the monk when her phone beeped

~Little Sofie, come home soon darling.

She knows who the sender is without checking who sent it,

"Who else if not that dickhead," she muttered blocking his number, she actually saved his number as Dickhead.

Sofie knows where she couldn't be tracked, that is why this was the perfect hideout for her.

Monk Martin has always been like a father figure to her and her relationship with him has always been private.

Of course, she had her reasons.

"Finally, freedom!" Sofia squealed dancing around the hermitage, "It finally feels like home" Sofia muttered

°°°°

I only came with Leo and we stayed in a hotel close to the Hermitage.

I chuckled when I discovered she blocked me without giving a reply.

I collected Leo's phone and sent another message.

~Little Sofie, enjoy while it lasts because I'm finding you soon.

I sent it to her again and she replied immediately, knowing who it was.

~It will be fun to see you try dickhead.

She blocked the number again!

"It's going to be a long day tomorrow so rest well" I said to Leo handing over his phone to him.

°°°°°°

Sofia woke up to various voice talking and she decided to go check who Monk Martin was chatting with.

She stopped in her tracks, when she saw me and stood dumbstruck.

“Little Sofie” I muttered dangerously walking up to her.

  • WAGERED TO THE BILLIONAIRE    PROLOGUE

It’s late, and it was raining. Not the heavy dramatic type of rain - the soft drizzle type. The type that made her looked like she was glowing. She’s laughing. Not with me. Not for me. But I hear it anyway. She’s standing outside a gallery in that red dress. One arm around her friend, the other holding a paper cup of wine, like the world hasn’t touched her yet. Like she’s still untouched by the kind of men who ruin beautiful things.Like me.I stay in the car. Watch from across the street with a silence I've perfected over the years. Lights flicker above her, casting shadows that dance across her smile. She doesn’t know I exist. Not yet.But I know her.I know the way she bites the inside of her cheek when she’s nervous. I know she checks her door twice before leaving the house. I know she sleeps on the left side of the bed, always with the window cracked open. And I know she deserves more than the life she’s been handed.I see Derek step out of the corner and whisper something

Because there was no way he said what I just thought I heard. But no. He was leaning forward with his usual reckless smirk, fingers twitching over a mountain of poker chips, like he hadn't just thrown me into the pot like an old coin.“What the hell did you just say?” My voice came out calm—too calm for the storm crashing through my chest.A few men chuckled, but I could hear the awkwardness in their chuckles.Hello the whole air was now filled with tension as every eyes around the table turned to us.“Relax, babe.” Derek waved a dismissive hand without even glancing at me. “It’s just a figure of speech. You know how poker talk works—people bet houses, cars, islands. Just keeping the mood fun.”Fun.I walked around the edge of the velvet poker table and stood directly behind him, and I curled my hands into a f

I didn't get too far before I heard footsteps behind me. I didn't need to turn to know it was Alexander walking behind - and apparently with some of his goons."I’m not going anywhere with you."I said it with every bit of fire left in me, and kept walking. But he didn't stop following me - no the bastard didn't even miss a step. With a sigh I turned to him angrily, “did you not hear a word I said? I am not going anywhere with you! You can't…you can't do this me.”My breath hitched, and I felt my eyes burning with unused tears but I blinked it away - “I'm not some damn property.”“Don't take it personal honey,” he responded without blinking, “I'm a business man so my number one belief is - a deal is a deal. Your husband lost you in the bet so you are mine.”His words slammed with me and I staggered back, my knees suddenly growing too weak to hold me up as I really processed the whole thing again.“I'm not a property!” I yelled - or at least tried to, but the words came out in a broken
