what do you think about this chapter guys?
Somewhere In The Santiago's Mansion...."So you're telling me my daughter, drugged you, stripped you of your phone and guns, had you chained, robbed you of the job I specifically gave you, all by herself and you stand in front of me to tell me you are sorry, I give you one simple job and you come up with this shit story of my daughter, can you even hear yourself, what were you fucking doing with my daughter?" Don Santiago boomed in anger, he was beyond angry, if it were any other person that was standing in front of him telling him this shit story, that person would be long dead.He didn't want to believe all he was hearing, his daughter was too innocent to think of something like that, could it be that Gabriel messed up the job then hurt his daughter just to put all the blames on her.He was sure Gabriel wouldn't dare, but at this moment he didn't know what he was sure of, first his daughter was missing with no trace of her, it's either she ran away or she was hurt. He couldn't think
I didn't know how I was going to face the Don, how do I face him to tell him his own daughter was in London now hidden away somewhere we do not know.I decided that before I at least face the Don and maybe not make it out alive, I needed to know how Cara knew about absolutely everything we were planning, at least I'll die knowing I wasn't the only one that was played. With that in mind, I made my way to my room. As I got inside I made sure to lock the door, I didn't want to be disturbed. I took out the keys from the box as I opened the drawer where I kept the laptop, taking it out, I put it on as I again wait for it boot, it came up again with an indication showing I had to unlock with a code, now I needed to think of what possible password Cara could use. I would have given it to one of the computer freaks we had working with us, it wouldn't take them time to break what ever wall she had put up. But I didn't know how the Don would take it with me snooping around his daughter's room.
Don Dante LorenzoI am a hundred percent sure that that bullet was meant for me and not Marcus, he just happened to be at the wrong spot and at the wrong time, it was obvious, I know a lot of people know how I value my right hand man, he is a brother to me, hitting him is like hitting me, but am no weakling, I don't cry, I don't feel pain, it's not for me, but that night I felt it, the pain of losing someone dear to you, that kind of pain.He had always stood by my side, but now I stand alone, for him I will get justice, that shooter aimed at the wrong person, and signed his own death, I will make sure I get to the root of this, even if it's the last thing I do. I am not called ruthless for nothing, I am not feared for just my name, many people who have suffered my punishment and lived to tell the tale know what am capable of.So for Marcus life, I'll take a thousanduntil I get the justice he deserves.I made my way to the dungeon because I had unfinished business to deal with, someb
It been two days since I ran away from New York. Since then it felt like I've been watched continuously, you know that feeling of having someone's eyes on you but when you turn around you find absolutely no one, it has been like that, I know there is a possibility I'll be caught one day, but I don't intend to make it soon. I will make sure that I frustrate them before they can ever find me and I'll do it all by myself.I know I was being too paranoid, I didn't even know if they've found out who was behind everything that happened that night, I have just been living on the maybe, maybe not idea.At one point I was beginning to wonder if maybe I would have killed Gabriel and let him die with my secret, but as soon as that thought came I wiped it away from my mind, I knew that killing him wouldn't do any good, after all nothing can stay behind forever, I'll just live with guilt and more years of hidden secrets.I've been staying in a hotel I found in Sydney, It not the kind of life am use
Just because I said I needed a cheap place to stay didn't mean I wanted to stay in a rundown house with a leaking roof and a street full of crazy drunk men, there's no way anyone is going to reduce me to that.I found a few houses online so I decided to pick a house agent and so far he hasn't done a good job of finding a place for me to stay.I was already exhausted after all the house hunting I just wanted to rest for today, but my agent assured me that we still had one more place to check before we called it a day, he was sure I was going to like the place.I would have argued with him but I didn't have the energy for that instead I followed him as we drove to our next location, reaching there I looked around and found the place a lot better than the previous ones we've checked, only from the environment I already liked it, he was correct when he said I'll like it.He led the way as I followed closely behind him, the place was just perfect, it didn't look anything expensive, didn't
"STOP!"I heard the guy I was just sitting inside the diner say, but I ignored him and again went to enter inside the taxi, he was giving me bad vibes and I didn't want anything to do with him.But as I go to close the door, he stopped me, "hey, hey, you seem to be running from me, but I don't think something of yours wanted to depart from me," he said while I stare at him in confusion, what does he mean?Seeing my confusion I watch as he brought the hand that he kept behind him dangling my purse in front of me...." hey gimme that, that's my purse," I said as I reached to snatch the purse from him but he pulled back,..... "ma'am are you going or not?" I heard the driver ask....turning to him I said "am sorry Mr please you'll have to go, am sorry for wasting your time,""No problem ma'am," he said as he drove away.I turned back to the annoying man who held my purse, " what is wrong with you? you found my purse and like a gentleman would do, you couldn't quietly return it, I said to hi
After Mathew finally decided to leave, I made myself dinner. I took my food to the sitting room putting on my laptop I turned to Netflix to find something interesting to watch, I choose the movie called "the unforgivable," a story about a woman who got released from prison after a long time for a crime she committed, but is rejected by society because of her past, reading the short intro I kinda compared her with myself, only that she committed a crime against a society whereas I committed a crime against the mafia Don, but what makes us similar is that those we offended have decided to see our crimes as "the unforgivable,".....how ironic.I suddenly lost my interest in watching any movie as I rather focused on finishing my food. After eating my food though I didn't finish it, I took the plate to the kitchen, washing and drying it I kept it back in place.I went to my room had my bath and prepare myself for bed, it was cold, luckily I was able to order a bedspread from a cheap online
As I stepped out of the dressing room I saw Matthew standing with his back facing me as he put his hands in his pocket rocking his heels, "are we going or not? I asked to get his attention, and just as expected, he turned to me, it felt like I physically saw his eyes fall out of his socket, the first thing that had to come out of the idiot's mouth is "will you marry me?" I couldn't control it as I burst into laughter, if not for my dress I would have sat on the floor,When my laughter finally calmed down I turned to him to see him smiling at me, "you know you look good but something was missing and I had to get it, you were frowning so you weren't fully dressed, and had to get a smile," he said,...cheesy I thought to myself. He bent his elbow for me to put mine but I just rolled my eyes and walked away, I heard him laugh before he followed behind me, we got into the car and drove off, we still had time to get to the party before it started, the time was showing 6:30 pm.We arrived at
