47. CONFRONTATIONS

Both my parents froze at my question but no one answered right away.

I glared at them expectantly. It was important that they gave me the answers to my questions. Their lives depended on it. It was time to bring me out of the dark that they had kept me in for so long.

My wolf shifted uncomfortably as I continued to stare at them. No one spoke for a dozen heartbeats.

It was when I began to think that they would not say a word, that my mother broke first.

"Young lady, your rebellious activities since the day began is getting out of hand. I thought we agreed not to open new wounds over breakfast? Why are you trying to bring it back up?" She demanded and I saw the disapproving scowl on her face.

I had succeeded in pissing her up again. Usually, when I got on my mother's bad side, I would be the one to back down on father's intervention. But I was determined to stand my ground today. I told myself that I was not leaving their room until they revealed to me everything that I needed
