"What?! A van stopped in front of you, and they just took you?" Manuela exclaimed, incredulous, rising from her seat as Suzie began recounting her ordeal.

They were on Mr. Lacrose's yacht, talking while Uno's men dealt with the delayed transaction. Only four of them were there: Uno, Santi, Suzie, and Manuela.

"You don't have to stand up; you're overreacting," Uno said, pulling Manuela back down beside him.

"I'm not overreacting—"

"—Yes, you are. Let your secretary finish her story before you react," Uno interrupted, causing Manuela to sit properly and turn to Suzie, who was looking at them both.

"What happened after they took you, Suzie? Did they do anything to you?"

"N-no, but they locked us in an apartel. They kept a close watch because they didn't want to lose any of their shipment. I was terrified; I didn't know what would happen. I'm grateful we were rescued," Suzie said, turning to Uno and bowing.
