Sienna’s POV

As the mayor and his staff filed out of the conference room, I gathered the last of our folders and equipment, stacking them into my arms while still managing to keep up with Trevor’s rapid fire commentary. We headed toward my office, decompressing from the formal energy of the meeting.

"So," Trevor said with a smirk, nudging me as we walked, "where's this mystery man taking you tonight?"

I smiled, eyes flickering with that little spark that only Alex seemed to light in me lately. "He told me I could keep it casual. Jeans and a nice top, nothing too extra. We're going to have some fun, whatever that means."

Trevor raised an eyebrow. "Fun, huh? Define fun."

I laughed. "Relax. I’ve got some distressed jeans with a ton of cuts down the front, paired with a cute little off the shoulder top flirty, but not doing too much. You know, not matronly... but just enough skin to keep 'em guessing."
