A few meters after they entered the depths of the forest, Elder Brahma stopped his steps and turned around. The remaining nine people looked at the elder with questioning eyes.

“Use your supernatural running speed,” said Elder Brahma, greeted with nods from the rest of the group.

Everyone except Linda suddenly let out a growl. In a split second their bodies yawned and turned into black wolves as big as bears. Linda took two steps back unconsciously. Secretly she was intimidated. Being alone in the midst of a wolf-shifter horde is arguably not good for the calm of a vampire like Linda, but once she tries to suppress her feelings. It's not the time to be overreacting. Time is wasted enough without having to add to this trivial problem.

The wolf Elder Brahma growled again, this time sending command through mind to all the wolves at once to Linda. In a flash, the nine wolves and a vampire-woman were already running at inhuman speeds.
