I breathed in deeply, wiping at my eyes hurriedly as I stood fearfully in front of Aiden's office. I could hear the sound of the drawer closing before I knocked slightly on the tall wooden door expecting him not to hear so I could run back to the dressing room.
I would rather put up with the other girls than be here right now.
"Come in." Aiden's voice sounded through the door and my heart sank as I pulled open the door.
His office was cold and sterile. Everything was in place and not a single thing was placed wrongly. The cold air from the ac slammed into me and I rubbed my arm.
I noticed Aiden raised a brow but said nothing as I came to stand in front of his table.
