Wanted: Runaway Surrogate

It's been six years when Gulf and Davika became an instant orphans when their parents passed away by car accident.

The Davidsons are one of the aristocratic families since The State of Louisiana has been founded 300 years ago, it has been known that their forefathers helped the foundation of the State.

Mitchell Davidson is a well known businessman, owning five Ranches and some companies in New Orleans, it isn't surprising when he married the Miss Galaxy Queen Alesa Traipsing of Thailand and they had two offspring, the twins Davika and Gulf.

Gulf is a healthy boy but he has special traits, he can conceive a child and that made him special to Alesa and Michell, but sadly his twin Davika was sickly, she has been diagnosed of having Coronary Artery Disease and constantly doing treatments resulting on her frail and pale figure.

The family has been treating her like a treasure because of her condition and because of their sudden death, Davika had it worst, Gulf being the strong one become the pillar of their family business.

Gulf sometimes feel tired and drained but seeing Davika so weak and helpless, he thought that He only has Davika.

"Any news from the Johannesburgs?" Gulf massage his head on a sudden headache attack.

The Johannesburg family once rejected a marriage proposal of the Davidsons, the eldest son Mew Johannesburg rejected Davika because she is sick.

"Nothing Sir, they have been silent and the only son has been working on their main office in Edinburgh." Tul said as he flipped a folder in front of Gulf's desk.

"Davika has been talking about that bastard since then until now, she's still hoping that she can see him, what do I do? The Doctor said she only has a year left. Should I beg that man to make her happy even for a bit?" Gulf's voice shook, he's trying to suppress his feelings.

Davika has been suffering on her illness and Gulf witness all that, she's all he got now and he will be alone once she will be gone as well but Gulf doesn't want to be selfish, he doesn't want to see her suffer for long. He wants Davika to be happy and free of her pain but he isn't God to do that. It's beyond his capabilities.

"Beg who?" a weak voice sounded from behind.

Gulf turn his swivel chair around and see the pale emotionless face of his twin, looking at him.

"Davi, how long have you been there?"

"So long that I heard everything... Gulf, why are you so selfless? You always thought about me."

Gulf look at Tul and he motion him the door, "Continue to observe the Johannesburgs and report to me everything."

Tul nodded and fled away.

Davika sat on the chair in front of Gulf's desk and she heave a deep sigh as if she is short of oxygen making Gulf panic.

"Nurse!" he called out Davika's private nurse but she stopped him.

"I'm fine... I heard what the doctor said to you yesterday about me, At first I was sad and unable to digest the fact that I will be living you alone but this is reality.. I was blessed enough to reach 24 years old despite of this traitor sickness.. No matter how many hearts was implanted on my chest, I am still dying... And the man I adore, completely rejected me." Davika chuckled drily.

"Davi, please calm down." Gulf got up on his chair and crouch down on her feet, holding her hand tightly.

"You are all I have after Mom and Dad passed away. I cannot afford to lose you."

"But this is fated to happen Gulf, we cannot stop God on his plan, this is my fate.. But I have found out a way for you to not be alone if ever I die, and on the other side, take it as a revenge." Davika smiled warmly.

"Huh?" Gulf creased his forehead in confusion.

"I've heard from one of our friends that Mew Johannesburg has been looking for a surrogate... It is crystal clear that he doesn't want to get married so he opted to have a child... Take this as my final and last wish, Be his surrogate... Then raise the child so you will never be alone."

Gulf get up abruptly after hearing her say those words.

"Davi! Why did you come to think about that muddled idea?"

"He won't be able to find out because his lawyer has been arranging it for him, grab the opportunity before it will be too late, this child will be yours, your own blood, you will never be alone. No one will know if we will make this plan flawlessly. Think about it. We have a lot of connections and you will use a disguise, think about your future..." Davika held Gulf's hand before turning to the nurse,

"I am tired, Nurse... Come take me to my room."

Davika left Gulf dumbfounded.

He hated Mew again, that bastard, if only he did not reject the proposal of his parents for him and Davika, Gulf won't suffer now. There are a lot of opportunistic people who wanted to get a share of their business and Gulf is struggling hard, the suppose to be merging of Johannesburg and Davidson is a huge help for them but that bastard just rejected it and that very same year, Mitchell and Alesa died in a car accident.

What should he do then? Gulf subconsciously run his hand on his belly, he knows that he was special and he can conceived but he won't take a huge risk for this... But upon remembering Davika.. His thoughts again began to rumble... Will he agree?
