I thought I had seen the last of Connor, but I had no idea how wrong I was.

It was shocking that he had been watching me since he saw me at the charity event, but now, it was even more infuriating that he wouldn’t leave me alone no matter how many times I pleaded and begged him to.

He kept stalking me and threatening me to return with him to Austria, and even though his threats terrified the hell out of me, I refused to give in.

I was about to go to bed when my phone beeped. The screen lit up, and when I saw that I had gotten a text from an unknown number, I already had a faint idea of who I had gotten the text from.

I proceeded to read it with shaky hands and a pounding heart.

Lucia. I have asked you again and again to go with me to Austria, but you refused each time.

I want you to know that whatever comes next is your fault.
