Chapter 26

Evan slammed the door of his room as he did a facepalm. He's furious, badly wanting to punch someone in the face just to ease the feeling of unfamiliar pain in his heart because of what he witnessed. He walks back and forth around his room trying to focus himself.

"God! Evan, you're crazy,"

he says and lets himself fall on the bed. He places his right arm on his forehead and he closes his eyes.

"This isn't like you, Evan. When did you ever react this way?"

Scenes of Bea and Simon kissing inside the car flash in his mind. The car's windscreen ain't tinted, causing him to witness everything.

On the other hand, Bea couldn't stop pinching her pinky finger as she stared at Evan's room door. She didn't know how long she'd been standing there, waiting for him to come out. She is hesitant to knock since she had no idea what to say either if she faced him.

"Okay, Let's just knock, Bea."

She took a deep breath, gathering all her strength within. She raised her hand and was about to knock when
