Chapter 31

"I'll be in the study room if you need anything,"

Evan said after finishing the meal she prepared for him.

Bea nodded and smiled at him before entering her room. She took a bath first before laying down on her bed. Her day was physically exhausting. She was sitting on her bed when she noticed unfamiliar paper bags on the bedside table. She wasn't able to notice it when she first entered her room but she's sure that those weren't there when she left the condo with Anna.

She reached for it and checked what was inside. In the biggest paper bag was a red dress. The next one contains a box. She opened it and saw silver stilettos with six-inches high heels. She noticed that it was her size. On the third paper bag were pieces of jewellery.

"Wow! It's so pretty."

She exclaimed in amazement. Everything was elegant and to her taste.
