Roger opens his eyes, to find Jessica asleep next to him. They had just had the best sex he has ever had, Roger thinks to himself "She looks so beautiful, this was not what I was expecting when I came to this city, how could she bring out these intense feelings in me, We just met but it feels like we've been together forever. Suddenly Roger feels a sharp pain in his skull, like a hot knife being pierced into his head and he hears an ominous voice speaking to him. " Roger, where have you been hiding, the pack misses you." "Aiden? how are you speaking to me?" "I'm the wolf that turned you, we have a special bond, I saw today that you found yourself some fresh meat, bring her me to me." "No, she's not meat and I told you I'm not interested in joining your pack, I never asked to be this monster, you should have just killed me." Aiden laughs out loud "Where the fun in that?" "Leave me alone!" Were not too far from you and your meat, let's make this interesting, you come over and fight one of my wolf brothers and if you survive we will get out of your fur." "it's too late tonight its almost sunrise." Aiden raises his voice in frustration "If you don't get over here now, we will find that delicate creature and tear her apart!"

Roger looks over at Jessica, she looks peaceful and smiles in her sleep. He walks over to the large windows naked and breathes in deeply. Roger is what is called a highborn werewolf. This means he can take on werewolf form at any time. Roger flexes his muscles and he starts to transform. The process is painful as you hear his bones cracking and changing shape and the sound of his skin stretching to accommodate for his larger form. Roger jumps off the balcony of the penthouse and climbs down the side of the building and jumps onto nearby scaffolding and onto the roof of another building. "Where are you Aiden? I'm on my way." "Just follow my scent, you'll find me."

Roger arrives at a construction site, changes to human form, and walks into the middle of a large dark room with only the light of the street lighting up the inside of the room. "Aiden!" Suddenly multiple pairs of eyes appear in the darkness, they look like tiny lanterns floating in the air. "Welcome home Roger!" a man steps out into view, it's the same tall man who was stalking Jessica earlier, he claps his hands together in applause. "It's been such a long time, I've tried so many times to reach out to you telepathically but now I know why it never worked, we were not on the same continent!" "If I could be on another planet, that's where I would be!" "Why are you so pissed off at me? I gave you a gift, you can transform at will, at night, unlike the other lower born wolves." you seem to forget that we have to transform at least once a month otherwise you transform against your will. "We're here to have some fun! and I have the perfect game to pass the time, I saw that tender little thing you were spending she looks simply ravishing, my brothers agree." the other werewolves step out of the shadows and they surround Roger and Aiden. "If you come close to her, I will kill you!" Roger transforms into a werewolf and roars into Aiden's face.

"Hold on, to get to me you need to go through them first, do you know what you're fighting for?" Roger gets more frustrated and rushes at Aiden but another werewolf jumps in between them and digs his claws into Roger's sides. Roger digs his teeth into the Wewolf's shoulder and rips at the flesh. The unknown werewolf lifts Roger up and tosses him across the room. Two werewolves stare each other down while the other wolves howl with excitement at the prospect of lots of blood being spilled. Aiden is still in his human form and calls out at Roger, "Welcome to Werewolf Fightclub Roger, tonight you are fighting for a wonderful prize, Jessica's Life!" The two monsters rush at each other and start ripping at each other's flesh, Roger swipes his claws at the other wolf's face leaving deep gashes that cause blood to flow from the wounds, Roger lashes out one more time with his claws, and this time his claws catch the wolf's throat sending more blood gushing, the wolf steps back and is distracted by the stream of blood shooting from his throat, Roger uses the opportunity to rush at the wolf and takes a large bite out of the neck of the wolf ripping out a large chunk of flesh. There is a large gaping hole in the neck of the unknown wolf as his body goes limp and he falls to the floor. Roger spits out the piece of meat from his mouth, his body is covered in the blood of the other wolf. Aiden steps into the ring "Wow well done! you were awesome, you and Jessica live to love another day, look it's almost sunrise, you better go." Roger hurries to make it back to Jessica's penthouse in time, he climbs up the side of her building and onto the balcony as he steps into the room he starts to change back into his human form. "Why am I so exhausted, it must be the fight, I need to clean this blood off me before Jessica wakes up." As he walks over to the bed to check on Jessica, his legs start to go weak and he passes out.

Roger wakes up to loud screams, he is still drowsy and his vision is blurry but he makes out the form of Jessica and he can see she is panicked. "Oh no she can see that I'm a werewolf." he looks at his hands and can see that they are human hands. He runs over to her and grabs her by the hands to calm her down. Roger looks deep into her eyes "Jessica, Jessica! the blood is not mine!"
