Then who's blood is this! Jessica shouts out hysterically and pulls away from Roger, "Let me go!" Jessica steps back from Roger, the tears are rolling down her cheeks and she cowers in the corner of her room terrified of the man standing in front of her. Roger walks over to her and goes down on his knees, "Jessica I need to tell you something, I'm not a normal guy, there is something different about me. Fifty years ago, I was hiking in the mountains of Romania and got attacked by an animal, I lost a lot of blood and was in the hospital for weeks on the edge of life, then suddenly I started healing fast, the doctors were at a loss and couldn't explain it. I left the hospital as if nothing happened. That night I was visited by a strange man who told me it was him that attacked me and that he was a werewolf, I laughed it off but he transformed in from of me and told me that soon I will be able to do the same. That moment I was scared out of my mind, but he took me under his wing and introduced me to his pack. They were literal party animals who never sleep. We traveled all over Europe and I thought that sometimes the guys would maybe party too hard and hurt people accidentally, but it turns out they were killing people every night. One night they kidnapped a group of people and released them into the nearby woods. The pack leader told me to join them as turned into werewolves and hunt the group of people, that night I decided to leave the group behind and travel the world on my own. you see that pack of wolves lost their humanity years ago already, they just thought of humans as their playthings and sometimes food. Last night that pack leader found me and he forced me to fight another werewolf or else they were going to kill you!"

Jessica looks up at Roger, her eyes bloodshot "You're a werewolf? and you were fighting another werewolf last night to protect me?" Roger looks deep into her eyes, he looks as if he wants to cry. "I know we only know each other a few hours but it feels as if I've known you all my life and I wish you didn't have to find out about this part of my life this way, but I'm asking you to just give me a chance, I am in love with you and I'm not ready to lose you." Jessica looks away, she can't look him in the eyes "I can't do this, I need time to make sense of all this, please leave." "Jessica please let's talk about this." "Leave! please!" Roger gets up from the floor and put's his clothes on and leaves while Jessica breaks down into tears.

Jessica walks into the building where she works and makes her way to her office, she is still disturbed by the events of this morning but she is determined to move on from it and forget she ever met Roger. "Good morning Jessica" a high-pitched voice breaks Jessica's train of thought, it's Susan, Jessica's always upbeat and positive colleague. "Morning Susan, how you doing this morning?" "I'm good, So how was your date with Mr hot stuff last night?" "Mr. Hotstuff? oh, Roger, oh no It's not gonna work out between us, we are just from two different worlds." "Oh wow that's a shame, you were so excited yesterday, you couldn't stop talking about him, do you still have his number, I've been going through a bit of a drought in my social life, believe me, you don't want anything to do with him, he's a total jerk." Jessica walks into her office and closes the door behind her. She sits in her chair and places her head in her hands. "How could this happen? everything was going perfectly, I was starting to fall in love with him too, but he just told me he is a werewolf? and I woke up to find him covered in someone else's blood? I can't just ignore that, he is either a crazy psychopath that went out and killed someone else while I was sleeping and I'm lucky he didn't just kill me in my sleep, or he really is a werewolf and that's a whole different kind of crazy. I should just forget about him." Jessica gets up from her chair and steps out of her office, she looks around for Susan and spots her. "Hey, Susan! what do you say we go out for a few drinks tonight? maybe try and bring some rain to your desert?" "Yeah, that will be great can Laura come as well?" "Sure why not." "Great!"

Roger is sitting at a bar, it's late afternoon and he has been throwing back shot after shot. Aiden walks into the bar and takes a seat next to roger he signals the bartender and orders a drink. " Can I have two of what he is having, please? Trouble in paradise?" "I need you to leave me alone." "Roger we've just found each other again, how can I just leave you, the game just started, are you ready for round two?" "Jessica wants nothing to do with me so there is no game." "Roger my friend the game is over when I say it's over." A young man walks over to Aiden and sits next to him. "Have you met Jasper?" Roger looks over at Jasper, he is a young man in his late teens with a thin mustache covering the top of his lip, Roger can clearly see he is nervous about something. there are sweat beads on his forehead. "jasper is one of our newest brothers he is a lowborn wolf and he is your next challenger, tomorrow night is the first night he transforms and if you don't show up for your match he is heading straight for Jessica, remember you and I have a special bond I see behind the curtain, your feelings for Jessica run deeper than even you could imagine.
