Jesse's P.O.V. Damon just made me hurt Auggie really badly. I knew he hated Damon, but I got with him anyway. I was so mad at Auggie the day I first kissed Damon. That's partly why I did it. Now I hate myself more for it. It was the most stupid decision I have ever made. "Why'd you do that?" I snapped at him. "Got any dirt on Wolf boy?" He ignored my question. "No, there is no dirt to get. Liam's a good guy." I rolled my eyes at him, extremely annoyed. I tried to keep my mind from flashing back to his kisses earlier. Ares' P.O.V. Jesse's fight will be starting soon and when I looked into it, it had changed. I looked after I had gotten the email, and she had won, so I didn't worry too much about it. I looked again, after my own fight, and again she still won. I looked again now, 20 minutes before her fight and she loses it. I don't know what happened in the last couple of hours, but it's nothing good. "We need to find Jesse." I ordered Augustus, appearing in his dorm before him. "She can fu.ck off." He snapped turning his back to me, on the bed. "Get up. We're going. You can push whatever is going on with you to the side for now, because she's about to lose this fight if we don't help her!" Augustus’ P.O.V. What is she thinking? Why did she let him go? She could have ended it if she would have kept the shadow on him. I watched as the vampire kept running circles around her now. She didn’t create more clones either. The vampire had taken out all her clones, and she stood there acting defenseless. Her eyes were wide, and I could see the fear she was trying to hide. Ares grew tense beside me. I watched as he let his shadow go flying towards Jesse. “Damon is messing with her shadow as her intertwined.” He explained. My blood instantly started to boil. My fists flamed in anger. I’ll kill him. I scanned the bleachers, looking for that smug face of his. I found it easily, seeing those dumb silver streaks on the side of his head. He looks like a stupid skunk. I traveled to his side, scaring everyone around him. He didn’t flinch, he smiled like he was expecting me. “Go ahead, hit me. Nova's P.O.V.I woke up with the biggest pain in my chest. Augustus broke my heart last night. He made me sound like such a slut. Is that the image he has of me? Just kissing anyone that looks sad? I thought we had a moment, but he didn’t correct me when I told him we shouldn't have. He didn't argue or insinuate that he felt any other way. Instead, he made it sound like I wouldn’t be able to forget his kiss, as if he had some god-like kissing skills, which he actually kind of does. I just wanted to pretend that it never happened. I wanted things back to normal between us.Gabriel: So are you hoping that I’d see it, or were just trying to keep me in the dark?Gabriel’s text this morning had me feeling guilty. Ares’ P.O.V.May worked us hard as usual. She had us sparring with one another after teaching the other students a new move to use with their shadows. Damon had been trying to speak to Jesse the entire time, but May kept them separated. I don’t know how she knows. I doubt Jesse told her.“Did you tell May what happened?” I asked Augustus. That doesn't really sound like him though.“No. Although, that would have been a good idea.” He sighed. “I still can’t believe he’s her intertwined, and I thought you had shi.t luck.”He shook his head, making his curls bounce around him. His gold eyes watched Jesse as May spoke to her. I wonder who told her then.“Yeah, you definitely have the best of luck of the three of us.” He might not know it, but he has Nova in love with him. Jesse's P.O.V."How about we go get some lunch?" Ares asked me, breaking the silence again."I don't know that I want to be out in public right now." I sighed."I'll keep you safe. I know what's going on now. I'm going to start keeping my visions open. I'll make sure to help you avoid him from now on." He promised, making me feel secure."Thanks Arie. I knew I could count on you." I smiled, staring at the grass ahead.

Augustus' P.O.V. "Where is he?" I asked Ares, looking for Damon. "He'll be sitting at the table beside us. Don't let him rile you up. Just eat your food and ignore him. You can't help Jesse if you're suspended or, worse, expelled." He warned me. "I hate that guy." I murmured. Just as Ares said, Damon appeared at the table beside us. He scanned the seats for Jesse, looking a bit upset when he didn’t find her. It made me smile a bit to see his disappointment. He doesn't deserve her. Ares hadn't shut his visions off. When we were younger, he didn't know how to shut them off, and he'd have them on all the time. It was annoying as hell when he knew what I was going to do before I even did. He was so cautious about everything he did back then. It was making him this shell of a person. Eventually, his grandma Ramona showed him how to turn it off when he was 6. Jesse's P.O.V.A knock on the door had me pulling my tube top up faster than intended. I changed out of that uniform the moment my last class ended. It's the fu.cking weekend now.
