LANA’S POV

“Done,” I said and dropped the cotton swab and cream beside me.

Paul smiled and looked past me at his reflection before looking back at me. His eyes scanned my body and before I knew it, he was lifting me into his arms. Out of shock, I wrapped my legs around his waist and put my arms behind his neck.

“Where are you taking me?” I looked down at his face as he started to walk, making his way out of the bathroom.

“I am taking you to bed,” he said and continued to walk until he got to his bed and laid me on it.

I frowned as I wanted to get up and find something to do. It was night time but it was not like it was so late at night. I was hungry and didn’t want to rot in bed.

“What’s that look on your face, hm?” Paul poked my forehead and stayed partially on top of me.

“I’m hungry and I want to go get something to eat. Besides, I have to go home,” I replied and crossed my arms.

Paul chuckled and grabbed my chin then shook my head softly. He removed his hand then flicked my nose, making me growl at him.

“You look like a cute mouse when you do that.”

I gasped, feeling offended. “Did you just call me a mouse?”

Paul came closer, making me flush from embarrassment and from the funny feeling he evoked out of me.

“Yes,” he whispered and tilted his face to the side so he had his lips pressed up against my ear. “That is because you are cute. You’re my little mouse.”

I shuddered when he placed a soft kiss against my ear. I swallowed as he pulled away from me and smiled at me as if he had not made me go crazy with what he had said and done. He moved back and eyed me with those flirty, bad boy eyes of his while smiling to himself.

“What do you want to eat? I can make it for you.”

I scoffed. “You cook?”

He laughed. “You think I can’t cook? Come on, don’t do me like that… You know what? Get up. Let’s go to the kitchen and I will show you that I can actually cook. Because I know this little mouse would claim I ordered the food then accuse me of making it to be what I cooked.”

I smirked. “Your words and thoughts, not mine.”

“Tsk. Come here.”

He charged toward me, making me scream out of joy and laughter. He lifted me up in his arms and tucked his face in my neck then rubbed his nose against it, tickling me and making me laugh even more.

“Now, come on. I will show you how great of a cook I am,” Paul said and winked at me.

He carried me out the room, through the hallway, into the elevator and to the kitchen. Paul placed me on the counter then I watched him open the lockers. He grabbed some pots, then went to the fridge where he took out some chicken, vegetables. I smiled as he went around the kitchen grabbing everything he wanted.

“So, what are you making?” I asked as he started washing some potatoes.

“Something I found online and love to make. You’ll love it.”

Paul made his way to the island and began to prepare everything he needed to cook with. I watched him in amazement and amusement as washed, chopped, sliced, and even whistled.

“I hope it isn’t anything poisonous.”

Paul fake laughed and turned around, facing me with a little carrot in his hand. He smiled and slowly made his way toward me. I eyed every move he made in curiosity until he stopped right in front of me, holding out the carrot to my face. I blinked at it before looking him in his eyes.

“Have a bite,” he said and came closer, making himself move in between my legs.

I tensed up at how close he was to me and gripped the edges of the counter hard to compose myself. His other hand rested on my bare thigh while the other brought the carrot close to my lips. My throat tightened, my body tingled with a warm feeling then my heart started to pound fast.

“Open,” Paul said in a deeper tone of voice.

I slowly parted my lips, opening my mouth for him. He hummed and placed the tip of the carrot against my lips before he moved it between my teeth. He kept his gaze on mine as the sweet taste of the carrot hit my tongue as I bit into it. We stared into each other’s eyes as I bit the carrot again and chewed. The more I stared, the more I saw his eyes dilate and darken. The blue in his eyes reminded me of the ocean and as I picked up every fleck in his eyes, I found myself falling into them.

My center ached when his hand that rested on my thigh moved upward, creating warmth. He moved his hand to my hip where he began rubbing my hip through my dress with the pads of his fingers. His touch elicited something inside of me that was clawing to come out.

“Hmm. What’s that look in your eyes?” Paul asked in a low tone of voice.

“W-what look?” I swallowed.

Paul said nothing and only scanned my face with a distant expression on his face. Once I had taken every bite out of the carrot, he wiped my lips with his thumb, making me gasp and shudder. He moved back and went over to the sink. I watched his broad back with heavy pants.

Paul was a crazy motherfucker! How could he make my body react to just eating a damn carrot? Was he aware of how attracted I was to him? How could one person make me almost lose self control? On one hand, Drake made me feel the same way and on the other, Paul did the same. At the moment, I was confused with what I wanted.

Did I want Drake to finally love me or did I want to move on from Drake and accept my silly little crush I had for Paul.

“Give me twenty minutes and I will be done. Okay?”

“Okay.”

I looked away from him to the entrance of the kitchen when I saw movement. My eyes widened and my heart skipped a beat. Drake was standing at the door, staring at me with a blank expression. I wanted to look away but I wanted to see if he had concern in his eyes for me, if he cared for me or was worried about the fact that one of them had accidentally punched me.

“Can I talk to you?” Drake asked.

Paul immediately turned around at the knowledge of his presence while I wondered who he was talking to.

“Excuse me?” Paul said.

“Can I speak to you, Lana. Please.”

I looked to Paul to see if it was a good idea. Paul smiled and nodded then went back to what he was doing. I hesitated before jumping down from the counter and crossing the kitchen to where he was. I stood before him with my gaze on the door behind him. I could feel his eyes on my head, adding to the multitude of emotions I was feeling.

“Let’s go.”

He turned away and opened the door then stepped out of the kitchen.

I was eager to hear what he had to say to me, and I hoped it had to do with my feelings I had confessed to him.

Lana’s POV“What the fuck?!”I jumped out of my seat at the content of the bank notification on my phone. My eyes found it hard to believe it and I wanted to laugh at the message attached to the alert. What was he thinking? Why would Paul send such a thing to me so unprovoked?“What’s with that look on your face?”I forced myself out of my shocked state to look at Lia, one of the boys’ sisters. She was in her medical scrub, holding two cups of coffee. She walked over to me and handed me one of the cups then sat down on the couch I had been sitting on.“What happened?” Lia asked and took a sip out of her drink.I sat down and showed her the screen of my phone. She read the content and almost choked on her drink before looking at me with wide eyes.“Is something going on between you and Paul?” She asked with shock heavy in her voice. “How the fuck is he sending you $20,000 to buy a dress for a party?!”I couldn't tell if she was judging me or not. I was not that close to the girls, but

Lana’s POVWhat did he just say?Did my ears hear right, or I was just being delusional?“Paul… What did you just say?” I asked in a clearer voice. Tears and sadness left me as curiosity took over my being.Paul took a step back and rubbed his neck while smiling sheepishly. He dropped his hand and gestured around.“What I meant to say is… I know my brother hurt you, especially since you like him. I wanted to fill that void. I know how it feels to have someone you like not like you back. I’ve been there before, and it hurts. All I had to do was move on with someone else.”I understood what he was saying as it was something I was also planning on doing now but now, he was making things even harder than before. Paul was speaking in a way that left me confused and conflicted with myself. Was he implying that he wanted a chance with me or something? My teenage self would be over the moon if he had said this to me. Not that a part of me was not excited but I was simply exhausted and confuse

Lana’s POVI watched his back as he walked ahead of me. I could not tell where he was leading me to, and I was scared of asking him where he wanted us to talk. I simply kept my mouth shut and walked after him, keeping my eyes on his back still. We arrived on the other end of the mansion and walked out the wide doors. We were now in the garden, which looked beautiful under the night sky and the glow of the lights around. We strolled to a bench in the middle of the garden, which overlooked a small pond and sat on it. I made sure there was enough space between us and kept my gaze on the flower bush across from me.“I brought you here to say that I am sorry,” Drake said, straight to the point, which almost sounded forced.I side-eyed him and saw he was looking to the side while fiddling with his fingers. I looked away and sighed. I needed this to be done with.“I said a lot of things I should not have said, and I apologize for it,” he said and heard him take a deep breath. “I was the one

Lana’s POVI opened my eyes with a gasp. I looked around me and noticed I was laying on a bed, facing a familiar ceiling. I blinked and looked around me once again. I was in Paul’s room but what confused me was why I was laying on his bed when I was supposed to be home.I started to sit up, only to groan when my head ached so much that it hurt my eyes. I laid back down to stop the headache. My ears perked when I heard footsteps coming from the room’s entrance. I moved my gaze downward and saw Nina at the door, watching me with an odd look on her face.“What… what are you doing here?” I asked and slowly sat up, ignoring the pang in my head.Nina scoffed and started looking around the room before stopping at the floor length window of the room. She laughed softly, which made me wonder if something was wrong in her head. I jerked a little when she spun around quickly with a smile on her face.“You must really think you are special, huh?” Nina laughed again and started making her way to t

Lana’s POV“What are we going to do?” I asked as I walked into Paul’s bedroom.I staggered to a stop when I saw he was half naked with a short towel wrapped around his waist. It felt like my heart almost flew out of my chest at what I was seeing. I could not stop my eyes from taking in his physique. From his muscular arms, broad shoulders and chest to his abs that glistened from the water drops and light reflecting from his opened window. I swallowed as I eyed every drop of water on his skin then moved my eyes to the low ridden towel around his waist, which gave me a view of his v-line.I could have sworn I saw tiny hairs peeking from the rim of the towel, but I forced myself to look up at his face, which was a bad idea because his wet hair, and eyes made me feel something funny in my stomach. I hated how attracted I was to him. In fact, I hated how attracted I was to both brothers. I felt like a whore.“See something you like, baby?”My cheeks flushed at his question and term of ende
