After messaging Connor, I looked around my office and the mess it had become since Blaze decided to run as mayor. I have been busting my ass to keep the Cunningham business running smoothly, as well as designing fliers for his campaign. I hope the pregnancy brain doesn’t start fogging up my senses like it had done before when I was pregnant with Mark. I wouldn’t be able to manage.

I knew that I would have a while before Connor would get here. So I frantically started going through paperwork and other things that were strewn about my office. It was time to get organized before things got out of hand.

When I was about thirty minutes into my organizing and cleaning spree, a knock sounded. I walked over and opened the door to see Blaze standing there.

“We are leaving. Is Connor coming to get you? Or do we need to give you a ride back to your place?”

I glanced at my phone to see what time it was and smiled at Blaze. “Connor should be here any minute. I messaged him about thirty mi
