“What are you doing?” Jackie laughed as she flopped back on her bed a few days later, the phone pushed to her ear with Bobby on the other end. The kids were in their rooms and she had just cleaned up the dinner mess. 

 “I’m lying on my bed, what are you doing?” she returned his question.

“I’m on break. You know, I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t like working when you aren’t here.”

“Oh, is that right? Do tell me why you hate it so much. It’s a whole bunch of guys doing whatever you want, what could be so bad about that?”

“One, there’s not nearly enough eye candy.” She rolled her eyes at that but couldn’t stop the chuckle. “Two, it’s boring, I can’t flirt with anyone.” That brought another eye roll but a blush as well. “And three, the other two don’t make things as much fun as you do.”

“Maybe I should be telling Buzz to make it more fun. It’s a job, Bobby, it’s not always fun.”
