I let my wolf take over and ran through the Academy’s forest for hours, yet the fury burning inside me never subsided. Instead, it only grew wild, uncontrollable, consuming. Seraphina was the only thing on my mind, and restraining myself from taking her right then and there was nearly impossible. But I decided to wait until Percy returned, until I got my hands on the footage. She was allowed to smile until then.

Holding back the rage, however, came at the cost of my sanity. Slaughtering animals in the forest wasn’t enough. I craved blood.
