Jade shook her head in disbelieving admiration, her eyes saying she almost didn't picture him as the kind to maintain friendship for that long. The realisation of what she was probably thinking made him long for something that seemed impossible. It wasn't news that she had a bad impression about him, he wanted to change it.
"By the way, where did the others go?" He was referring to Annabelle and Ginger, though he was quite pleased they weren't there. It was only a bid to keep the conversation flowing, he had no idea of what to talk to her about, and so he asked that.
"Oh, I sent Annabelle to print out the script and have a room ready for my manager. She'll be arriving tomorrow morning."
