Chapter 34

On my 17th birthday I received a gift. A gift that I can not remember but I know I got. It was a box, small but not too small. I can feel the contents inside that box hitting against its wall in this current moment. I can feel the familiarity of the person who gave it me but I can’t see. I can’t see!

I inhaled sharply my heat beating out of my chest and my eyes wet with tears. My hands are bound and my feet are bound. I was seated in a chair with an intense ringing in my ears.
